Regional Account Manager - Emilia Romagna

We are seeking a dynamic Regional Account Manager, ideally based in Emilia Romagna, to drive new business development and expand Fortinet's presence across the region. Proximity to the territory is essential to build strong customer relationships, accelerate opportunity creation, and ensure effective coverage of the Emilia Romagna region.
You will act as the primary Account Manager for the region, responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and guiding customers through their cybersecurity transformation journey.
As a Regional Account Manager, you will:
- Develop new business across the Emilia Romagna region, identifying and engaging prospective customers
- Build and execute territory and account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Expand Fortinet's footprint within existing customers through cross‑sell and upsell initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and regional partners
- Lead and coordinate internal teams to deliver customer‑focused proposals, RFP responses, and statements of work
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closure
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting
- Collaborate with channel partners to strengthen market presence and accelerate regional growth
- Travel within the assigned territory as required to support customer and partner engagements
We Are Looking For
A proactive, results‑driven sales professional with strong regional knowledge and a passion for developing new business. You may be a strong fit if you bring:
- Proven experience in technology sales, ideally within cybersecurity, networking, or adjacent IT sectors
- Demonstrated success in new business development and territory expansion
- Strong understanding of the Emilia Romagna market, including customers, partners, and competitive landscape
- Knowledge of IT security technologies such as firewalls, VPN, antivirus, IDS and IPS solutions
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, able to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences
- A proactive, development‑oriented mindset with the ability to build pipeline and drive opportunities independently
- A collaborative approach with a focus on delivering customer value
This role is governed by the applicable CCNL, including its classification, minimum salary levels and pay progression rules. In line with EU pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this position will be provided to all candidates before the interview stage, together with information on the objective criteria used for determining pay and progression. We do not request or consider salary history at any stage of the recruitment process.
