Director of Groups

Overview

In this role you drive growth for Bvlgari Hotel Roma by shaping and executing international group and MICE sales strategies. You will manage key corporate and group accounts, collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft compelling offers, and lead market outreach to secure high-profile events. You will act as a brand ambassador at luxury trade shows and client engagements, ensuring flawless proposal to execution for prestigious events. This is a high-impact, globally oriented position that blends strategic planning with hands-on relationship building.

Responsabilità

• Develop and execute sales strategies focused on international groups, MICE, corporate groups, and high-profile events
• Manage a portfolio of key corporate and group accounts to drive revenue growth and repeat business
• Identify new business opportunities via cold outreach, networking, trade shows, site inspections, and industry events
• Prepare and execute an International Sales Plan for the Groups segment
• Travel extensively to generate inquiries across the MICE segment
• Collaborate with International Marriott Global Sales MICE colleagues to target international clients
• Coordinate with reactive teams to prepare proposals and contracts aligned with standards and revenue targets
• Present and organize site inspections to showcase hotel capabilities and spaces
• Work with Marketing, Revenue Management, F&B, Events, and Operations to craft compelling offers and execute events
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors, market trends, and client needs
• Act as a brand ambassador at MICE trade shows and client-facing engagements to boost Bulgari's reputation

Requisiti fondamentali

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 4–5 years of international group sales and MICE experience in luxury hospitality
• Proven track record in securing and growing group and event business in luxury hotels
• Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken)
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical ability with data-driven decision-making
• Ability to develop strategic account plans for high-value clients and maintain long-term relationships
• Collaborative mindset and cross-departmental teamwork
• High attention to detail, creativity, and organizational excellence
