Chef De Partie

Your approach to the job will be inspired by your authentic style and self - always ready with care and attention, a delicious twist, a recipe that only you could give. You’ll know exactly who needs what and when, you’ll remember their names and you’ll be ready to help establish our restaurant as one the most coveted culinary hotspots. 

In your role as Chef de Partie , you’ll discuss and agree some key objectives with your line manager. These objectives are designed to support your department’s goals and priorities. You’ll also take responsibility for your own development, embracing training opportunities that we offer, while learning from any challenges and mistakes along the way.  

How you do it:

• You’ll jump in and assist the head chef to cover the assigned section with passion.
• You’ll help maintain an efficient ordering system and kitchen record system in line with company policy. 
• You’ll support, if needed, the food deliveries and stock rooms, controlling stock and reducing waste. 
• You’ll complete all the records as directed, accurately and on time. 
• You’ll provide an efficient and friendly service to customers, serving them quickly and efficiently. 
• You’ll make sure all areas within kitchen control are clean, hygienic and tidy at all times. 
• You’ll keep tabs on the safety and security of company and client property.
• You’ll make sure we’re always complying with Company and Client policies and procedures, and statutory regulations relating to your work place. This includes (but isn’t limited to) fire, health and safety, HACCP, working safely. 
• You’ll report all complaints and compliments to your line manager, taking action where you can. 
• You’ll report any accident, theft, fire, loss, damage, unfit food or other irregularities to your line manager.  
• You’ll take your cues from the guidance and instructions given by your leadership team. 

What you bring:

• You’re experienced in working efficiently and safely in a high-volume kitchen. 
• You have at least one working experience in the wok section.
• You’re a great communicator and a collaborative team player.  
• You’re up to date on industry trends and keep your finger on the pulse of new developments. 
• You’re great at managing relationships with distributors and other third parties. 
• You have a working knowledge of fresh food production and how to organise functions.  
• You have the same high standards of personal presentation and hygiene as we do.  
• You’re always prepared to assume responsibilities, use your initiative, make decisions on the fly and adapt as things change around you.

The gross annual salary (RAL) for this position starts from €25000, aligned with CCNL Turismo, and may vary based on experience and qualifications.
