The Retail Merchandising Analysis & Coordination Manager is responsible for leading analytical and strategic planning activities across all categories within the Retail Merchandising team at worldwide level, transforming data into actionable business insights. The role supports strategic decision‑making, coordinates cross‑categories business analysis and planning activities, and leads key projects to enhance business performance and support sustainable growth. Also, the role is key in the coordination and definition on the Budget, both qualitatively and quantitatively.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform worldwide quantitative and qualitative analyses across all product categories, monitoring sell-in, sell-out, sell-through, growth, product performance, best performers, slow movers, and other key merchandising KPIs.
• Translate complex data into actionable business insights, recommendations, and strategic guidance for the Retail Merchandising team and senior management.
• Develop executive presentations and analytical reports to support commercial and strategic decision‑making.
• Coordinate the preparation of Retail Merchandising strategic plans, consolidating inputs from multiple stakeholders and functions.
• Cooperate in forecasting and planning activities across product categories, ensuring alignment between commercial assumptions, business expectations, and strategic objectives.
• Support the Retail Merchandising team during buying campaigns and collection presentations through pre-buy and post-buy analyses and strategic recommendations.
• Drive and contribute to cross‑functional projects related to Retail Merchandising, Business Development, and other strategic business priorities.
• Ensure high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across analyses, reports, forecasts, and planning documents.
• Work closely with GtM team to be the key point of reference in all processes and activities related to the collections / products launches and the performance monitoring of these launches.

Profile

• University Degree in Business Administration, Management Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Significant experience in Retail Merchandising, Buying, Planning, Business Analysis, Forecasting, or Management Consulting, preferably within the luxury or fashion industry.
• Proven track record in developing business analyses, forecasts, strategic plans, and executive‑level presentations to support decision‑making.
• Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating cross‑functional initiatives and multiple stakeholders in complex environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Proactive, agile, and results‑oriented mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality of deliverables.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced and evolving organizational environments, managing priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit, and ability to build trusted relationships across the organization.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with BI, reporting, and ERP tools is considered a plus.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Additional Information

• For new joiners in this role in Italy, the initial annual gross salary is EUR 70.000.
• This salary has been determined on the basis of objective and gender‑neutral criteria and corresponds to the compensation normally granted for this position at the time of publication of this job posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as your unique combination of experience and skills, seniority, and current organizational needs.
• This role also provides for participation in a bonus scheme, at Loro Piana’s discretion, based on factors such as individual and/or company performance.
• In addition to the benefits provided by law, further benefits may be granted in accordance with current company policies.
• The employment relationship will be governed by the provisions of the applicable national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL Tessile Abbigliamento e Moda) and the supplementary company agreement, as applied by Loro Piana in Italy.
