Interventional Cardiology Graduate Foundation Training Program

We are currently looking for a high number of graduates to join our Interventional Cardiology Division across multiple locations in Europe. This training program is designed to help train and develop graduates who are looking to enter a commercial and clinical medical‑device environment.

Successful candidates will be offered a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, where they will learn and expand their experience in the Interventional Cardiology field from our trained sales and support representatives in a live environment. This will give you first‑hand insight into the commercial world of healthcare outside of a university setting, and you will develop many competencies while performing in a professional work situation.

This role will be based around Milan, Italy and will require daily travel throughout the region. We are looking for two successful candidates.

Successful candidates may be retained by Boston Scientific in the Interventional Cardiology or other technical divisions. The position will start in October 2026.

The recruitment process includes a telephone interview and, if selected, a virtual assessment interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in learning and training events to develop product knowledge, clinical and commercial skills.
• Become certified as a subject‑matter expert on a designated franchise product area.
• Accompany a Field Coach to learn about working in a clinical setting.
• Interact with healthcare professionals and patients in clinical interventions.
• Plan and deliver daily interventions with clinicians.
• Educate clinicians on a product franchise.
• Commercially promote a product franchise.
• Contribute to the preparation and production of presentations and reports using word processing, spreadsheets and other computer programs.
• Conduct yourself as a regular full‑time member of the staff by accepting and adhering to BSC’s rules and regulations and by engaging in professional and personable conduct at all times with staff and customers. The Graduate is also obligated to comply with any confidentiality and professional policies established by Boston Scientific.

Profile Requirements

• Be a recent bachelor’s or master’s graduate (2025/2026) with a biomedical, scientific degree or nursing qualification covering elements of heart/cardio, etc.
• Be fluent in English and Italian (C1).
• Have strong planning, time‑management, communication and presentation skills.
• Have completed a placement within a clinical, hospital or similar setting.
• Be computer/technically savvy.
• Have a desire to learn, be coached and develop within a commercial setting.
• Be willing to travel across Italy or Europe and be away for up to a week at a time.
• Hold a current driving licence.
