Nestlé Purina - Project Health, Safety & Environment Manager (Greenfield Project) - Mantova

Overview

In this role you will lead health, safety and environmental efforts for a new manufacturing site launch. You will translate policies into operational plans and ensure HSE integration across project planning, design-for-construction, and contractor management. You will monitor risk, drive training, and coordinate with local authorities and Nestlé management to uphold high standards. This is a hands-on leadership position in a multi-contractor construction environment, focused on safe, compliant and sustainable site execution. You will shape HSE practices that protect workers and support Purina's mission to operate responsibly at scale.

Responsabilità

• Develop and communicate the site HSE Management Plan and ensure its implementation
• Ensure compliance with local legislation and Nestlé HSE standards across project activities
• Manage risk procedures: worker orientation, risk assessment, method statements, lifting plans, permit to work, emergency planning
• Maintain a safe and healthy site with proper access, signage, hygiene, and emergency response
• Coach and develop managers and team leaders on risk management and duties
• Provide guidance and coordinate internal and external resources for SHE supports
• Conduct audits and reviews to drive continuous improvement
• Engage with stakeholders (contractors, regulators, communities, NGOs) on HSE topics

Requisiti fondamentali

• University Degree in technical studies; engineering background preferred
• Experience in complex construction sites
• Experience in HSE management in multi-contractor environments
• Experience translating policies into practical action plans
• Development and implementation of HSE Management Plans
• Specific training in Health & Safety or relevant certifications
• Fluency in Italian and English
