Natixis Investment Managers International (Natixis IMI) is the main management company for Natixis IM in Europe. It encompasses two activities:
- The distribution activities in Europe and in other geographic areas such as APAC, the Middle East, and Latin America for Natixis IM’s asset management offering;
- A platform of centers of expertise (support functions) serving the distribution activities and affiliates.
Natixis IMI continues to develop and strengthen its presence in France and internationally, leveraging the expertise of its teams and the multi‑affiliate model of Natixis IM.
Job Description
The Senior Institutional Sales will manage and develop commercial relationships with major institutional clients in Italy (Pension Funds, Casse Previdenti, Casse Combined, Banking Foundations, Insurance Companies, Corporates and Family Offices), contributing to the growth of Natixis’ institutional business.
The role will promote funds, managed accounts, and customized solutions from all Natixis IM group companies, including ALM management solutions and personalized strategies.
Business Development and Client Management- Identify and develop new business opportunities on targets defined with the co‑country head of Italy, Head of Institutional
- Manage strategic relationships with existing institutional clients
- Identify cross‑selling opportunities
- Promote integrated solutions across the entire Natixis IM product range, including real assets
- Coordinate responses to RFPs and tenders
- Participate in industry events and networking activities
- Collaborate with the Country Head in defining the commercial strategy
- Monitor market trends
- Report to the co‑country head of Italy, Head of Institutional
The role is based in Rome.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
Education- Degree in Economics, Finance, or related disciplines
- Candidates with both sell-side and buy-side experience will be considered
- Excellent knowledge of the Italian asset management market
- In‑depth knowledge of liquid products (equities, fixed income, balanced) and real assets (Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure, Real Estate)
- Understanding of institutional investor dynamics and regulatory framework
- Familiarity with ALM management issues will be a distinguishing element
- Experience in structuring managed accounts and customized solutions
- Experience in managing RFPs/Due Diligence/Fund Selections
- Strong commercial and communication skills
