FOAMGLAS manufactures and provides insulation material that helps industries reduce their energy consumption. Here at Owens Corning we are fully engaged in reducing our CO2 emission by a series of ongoing investments. /p pWe are looking for a Sales Leader for South East Europe (Italy, France, Iberia and from East Europe mainly Poland and Czech) Industry business to be responsible for Owens Corning’s FOAMGLAS industrial markets, predominantly in the process industries – mainly oil, gas, petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, but also including food, beverages, energy storage and nuclear. /p pIn this role you will be working closely with key accounts, contractors, and EPCs, overseeing tenders and maintenance projects across your region. In this hybrid role you will provide leadership for Sales Leads working independently in their own areas as well as managing daily sales operations yourself also. This role involves setting long-term strategies for the segment, focusing on innovation in line with short, medium, and long-term business objectives. Collaboration across the matrix organization is essential for business success as well as maximizing the business opportunities through value-based selling. /p pYou will be responsible for the promotion and selling of the complete FOAMGLAS Industry portfolio in line with Business Strategy. This will involve the identification of appropriate sales opportunities, Specifications and Commercial realization of key projects within our segmentation strategy. As a commercial leader, you will also be responsible for collecting, understanding and acting upon relevant data, including industry data forecasting and reporting. /p h3What does success look like? /h3 ul liYou understand the customers’ needs (all stakeholders in the value chain e.g. EPCs, contractors, distributors and owners(oil gas, petrochemical, tank storage, etc.)) to create and provide solutions that bring value to them and to capture fair value for Owens Corning. /li liYou have built and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders. /li liYou are providing solutions that align with FOAMGLAS capabilities and customer needs. /li liYou are leading and developing your people for future growth. /li liYou have set-up the region for further expansion and commercial success. /li liYou have achieved a strong coordination and interaction with different stakeholders internally (Operations, MarCom, Finance, …). /li /ul h3Skills And Capabilities Necessary To Succeed /h3 ul liStrong Technical Background: Industrial Engineer or BSc in a technical field, or equivalent through experience with a proven track record. /li liIndustry Expertise: Extensive experience in the industrial insulation sector, with deep familiarity with insulation contractors, specifiers, and asset owners. /li liStrong relationship management and customer insight skills. /li liRegular engagement with European sales teams to drive results. /li liClear communication of value propositions to customers. /li liGrowth mindset and willingness to evolve with the business. /li liTalent development mindset and ability to work across cultures. /li liHigh ethical standards and integrity. /li liCollaborative leadership and team-building skills. /li liAbility to inspire, influence, and energize others. /li /ul h3Business Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Economics. /li li5+ years of experience managing and coaching sales teams. /li li5+ years of experience contributing to mid- and large-scale industrial projects. /li liFluent in English and Italian, Spanish an advantage. /li liExperience in technical sales within industry, with understanding of long-term sales cycles. /li liBackground in manufacturing or building materials is highly preferred. /liliProven leadership in international organizations, both vertically and horizontally. /li liCustomer-oriented with a solution-driven approach. /li /ul h3About Owens Corning /h3 pOwens Corning is a global building and construction materials leader committed to building a sustainable future through material innovation.
