ph3Applications Engineer /h3pAzienda: Nec Global Tipo Lavoro: Full Time Italy /ph3Descrizione Lavoro - Applications Engineer /h3h3About the role /h3pWe’re seeking a hands‑on Applications Engineer to deliver and support NEC’s critical emergency services platforms across our national customer base. /ppThis is a technical role where you’ll be actively involved in building, deploying, and troubleshooting real‑world systems, not just coordinating or overseeing delivery. You’ll work directly on live operational environments, ensuring mission‑critical solutions perform when it matters most. /ppYou’ll take ownership of end‑to‑end engineering activities, including building, commissioning, upgrading, and supporting systems such as Control Room technologies and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) platforms, while managing delivery tasks through Azure DevOps. /ph3What You’ll Do /h3ulliBuild, commission, and upgrade NEC Control Room systems. /liliTroubleshoot hardware and software and integration in real‑time. /liliSupport projects from start to finish, managing tasks via Azure DevOps. /liliPerform upgrades, patching, and system optimisation. /liliMaintain and enhance engineering documentation, standards, and processes. /liliProvide technical support and coach team members, share knowledge across teams. /liliJoin a 24/7 on-call roster, delivering exceptional customer service (with travel as required). /li /ulh3What We’re Looking For /h3ulli2+ years in similar roles /liliExperience in the operating IT systems for the Emergency Services sector. /liliStrong troubleshooting skills /liliExperience working within project delivery environments /liliExcellent communication skills + ITIL processes /li /ulh3Why NEC? /h3pAt NEC Australia, we’re more than a technology company - we’re innovators shaping the future.
