At Saipem, we embrace diversity as a driver of innovation and inclusion, while prioritizing people’s safety and environmental sustainability, even in the most challenging conditions. /ppbPurpose of the position: /bAs bLiquidated Damages Officer /b you will respond to the Liquidated Damages Management and be part of the Supply Chain. /ppbHow can you support us? /b /ppbAssess Contractual Entitlement to Liquidated Damages: /bReview supply contracts, project documentation, and performance records to determine whether contractual conditions for the application of Liquidated Damages have been met, and evaluate the Company's entitlement to claim compensation for delays or contractual breaches. /ppbCalculate and Validate Liquidated Damages: /bCollect and analyze information from corporate systems and project stakeholders, perform Liquidated Damages calculations in accordance with contractual provisions, and prepare the supporting documentation required for internal validation and approval. /ppbManage Supplier Notifications and Responses: /bPrepare and coordinate formal LD notifications to suppliers and subcontractors, monitor correspondence, review suppliers' justifications and supporting evidence, and update the assessment whenever new contractual information becomes available. /ppbCoordinate with Internal Stakeholders: /bLiaise with Project Managers, Contract Managers, Procurement, Supply Chain and other relevant functions to gather evidence, obtain required concurrences, align recovery strategies, and ensure the proper management of LD files throughout their lifecycle. /ppbSupport Negotiations and Closure of LD Cases: /bContribute to negotiations, settlement discussions, waiver evaluations, and recovery strategies aimed at achieving the best commercial outcome for the Company, while ensuring accurate reporting and timely closure of LD cases. /ppbWhat are we looking for? /b /ppbEducation: /bBachelor’s degree in Engineering or Law /ppbBackground: /b2/3 years of previous experience in Contract Management, Supply Chain, Procurement (within the Oil Gas, Energy, Engineering or Construction industry will be considered a plus) /ppbLanguages: /bgood proficiency in both written and spoken English /ppbTechnical/IT Knowledge: /bSAP, Teams, Outlook, MS Office main apps. /ppbWhat else should you know? /bSome travelling will be expected within Italy and/or abroad. /ppbWhat we can offer to you: /b /pulliPay not lower than 38.000 € /lilibCorporate Benefits /b: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, internal gym, discounts and partnerships, services related to health, family, well-being, and in-house cafeteria. /lilibHybrid working model /b: Smart Working options and flexible hours to help you achieve a better work-life balance. /lilibLocation /b: Milano, Via Luigi Russolo 5 (Head Office of Saipem Group) /li /ulpbTransparency Note /b /ppAt the end of the selection process, the Company reserves the right to offer a different job level and/or salary package compared to what is indicated in this job posting, in line with the candidate’s professional experience, technical and soft skills. /ppAny deviation shall be duly justified and documented in accordance with internal procedures and the Non-Discrimination Statement.
