Job Description

Following a comprehensive handover process, the Future Business Unit Manager will assume full responsibility for the Business Unit, driving its strategic, commercial, and organizational development.

In line with the company's strategy and reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing the Business Unit's P&L (approximately €10 millions), ensuring the achievement of revenue, profitability, and investment targets.
• Leading and developing a team of approximately 20HC from Sales, Product manager, Design and Proposal Engineering, fostering accountability, operational excellence, and a results-oriented culture.
• Defining budgets, forecasts, and development plans in coordination with the other Business Units, while actively contributing to the Group Strategic Committee.
• Leading and optimizing commercial, technical, and operational activities.
• Managing, motivating, coaching, and supporting the Sales Network.
• Personally driving business development activities and strengthening relationships with key customers.
• Directly overseeing the Technical Department, Product Managers, and strategic relationships with suppliers.
• Monitoring market dynamics and technology trends, identifying new growth opportunities and potential brand partnerships.

The Successful Applicant

• The successful BU Manager, holding a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or an equivalent educational background should have to following profile:
• Proven experience in Business Unit Management or Commercial Leadership roles within manufacturing companies, multinational commercial branches, or multi-brand distributors operating in the industrial automation components sector.
• Demonstrated track record in P&L management and business development.
• Strong managerial and entrepreneurial mindset, with a clear focus on delivering results.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in both Italian and English; knowledge of German will be considered a plus.

What’s on Offer

• Salary range of EUR 100,000 to EUR 130,000 + MBO
