Our 99,500 employees operate a network of 2,500 offices and laboratories, working together to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world. /p pAt SGS, we are looking for an experienced Product Certification Operational Manager to lead our Industrial Safety team in Italy. /p pSGS Industrial Safety operates in the following areas: /p ul liMechanical Safety (machinery, lifts, pressure vessels) /li liFunctional and Process Safety /li liStructural Safety (construction products) /li liFire Explosion Safety (ATEX) /li liElectrical Safety /li liNon-Destructive Testing (NDT) /li /ul pThis is a strategic leadership role combining operational management, business development, and technical excellence within the Testing, Inspection Certification (TIC) industry. You will be responsible for driving business performance, ensuring compliance with national and international accreditation requirements, and supporting the growth of our Industrial Safety services across Italy and the SGS global network. /p h3What you’ll do /h3 ul liLead the strategic and operational management of Industrial Safety in Italy. /li liTake full ownership of operational performance, resource planning, and PL. /li liEnsure the maintenance and extension of national and international accreditations and regulatory authorizations. /li liDevelop and expand our Industrial Safety service portfolio in line with market trends and emerging industry needs. /li liLead and develop internal teams and external technical experts, promoting capability development through coaching and collaboration. /li liPartner with SGS affiliates worldwide to deliver international projects and strengthen cross-border collaboration. /li liSupport commercial growth by contributing to business development and client engagement activities. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline. /li liMinimum of 10 years’ experience in TIC, Technical Services, or Operations. /li liProven expertise in statutory and regulatory compliance services across competitive markets. /li liPractical experience with inspection, testing and conformity assessments under EU regulatory framework, including: ul liMachinery and Lifts /li liPressure Equipment (static and transportable) /li liATEX (equipment and hazardous zones) /li liConstruction Products /li liNDT /li /ul /li liFamiliarity with audit practices aligned with EN ISO 19011, ideally verified by a recognized organization. /li liExperience handling claims, complaints, and operational risk management. /li liPrior involvement in internationally structured, matrix-based organizations is advantageous. /li /ul pbSenior position eligible for the Referral Program. /b /p pSGS is committed to equal employment opportunity and prohibits any discrimination on the basis of race or ethnicity, religion, sex, pregnancy, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental disability, veteran status, or any other category protected by applicable law. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
