Europe Truck Product Marketing Manager

Overview

As Europe Truck Product Marketing Manager, you own the complete lifecycle of BYD's truck portfolio in Europe, from market insight to launch and continuous improvement. You translate customer needs and regulatory requirements into compelling product specs, positioning, and a unified GTM plan. You collaborate with HQ, engineering, sales, and regional teams to ensure competitiveness and commercial success across segments and applications. You drive lifecycle management and enablement, shaping a differentiated offer that outperforms competitors. This role supports BYD's European growth and leadership in EV trucks.

Responsabilità

• Define and steer the European product strategy and roadmap aligned with market needs, regulations, and benchmarks
• Incorporate customer requirements, operator feedback, and market intelligence into specs and positioning
• Shape value proposition and differentiation versus European OEMs across segments and applications
• Lead GTM strategy, launch governance, and cross-functional readiness with sales, service, engineering, and HQ
• Manage product lifecycle from introduction to phase-out to sustain competitiveness and commercial effectiveness
• Develop sales enablement tools, technical materials, and commercial catalogues to support the truck portfolio
• Support pricing strategy, TCO modelling, and commercial offers (vehicle, charging, services)
• Lead launch readiness activities including product training, demo fleet planning, and internal comms

Requisiti fondamentali

• Strong understanding of EV systems (battery, powertrain, charging)
• Expertise in product marketing, positioning, and value proposition design
• Solid knowledge of Go-to-Market strategy and launch management
• Ability to translate customer requirements into actionable product specs
• Analytical mindset with market intelligence, benchmarking, and TCO modelling
• Familiarity with European truck regulations and homologation processes
• Knowledge of bus products and public transport a plus
• Cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management (HQ, engineering, sales, service)
• Excellent communication and ability to simplify complex topics
• Customer-centric mindset with strong business acumen
• High ownership and adaptability in fast-changing environments
• Experience as Product or Sales Manager in automotive, preferably CVs
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
• English plus another European language
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
