With six distinctive restaurants and bars, including a rooftop Mandarin Bar with sweeping city views, the property will blend tranquil residential charm with contemporary Roman sophistication. /ph3About The Job /h3pThe Director of Restaurants, Bars Experiences is responsible for leading all food beverage operations across the hotel, including restaurants, bars, in‑room dining, banqueting and culinary operations. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, this role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving commercial performance, developing high‑performing teams and ensuring operational excellence across one of Rome’s most exciting luxury dining destinations. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliLead and oversee all Food Beverage operations, ensuring exceptional quality, service standards and guest satisfaction across every outlet. /liliDrive the commercial success of the division through innovative concepts, strategic planning, effective revenue management and strong financial performance. /liliPartner closely with Sales, Marketing and Public Relations teams to create impactful campaigns, events and experiences that strengthen brand awareness and drive revenue growth. /liliDevelop innovative dining, beverage and experiential concepts that differentiate Mandarin Oriental, Rome within the luxury hospitality market. /liliMaintain a visible presence within the operation, building meaningful relationships with guests and creating memorable, personalised experiences. /liliMonitor guest feedback and satisfaction metrics, implementing improvements and service enhancements as required. /liliLead, coach and develop the Food Beverage leadership team and colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement. /liliOversee budgeting, forecasting, labour management and cost control processes to maximise profitability while maintaining exceptional quality standards. /liliEnsure consistency and quality across all culinary and beverage offerings, maintaining Mandarin Oriental standards at all times. /liliDrive innovation through industry awareness, market trends, competitor analysis and emerging guest preferences. /liliEnsure all operational systems, technology platforms and processes are optimised to support efficiency and enhance the guest experience. /liliMaintain compliance with all local regulations, food safety requirements, health and safety standards and company policies. /liliContribute as a key member of the Hotel Leadership Team, supporting the successful opening and ongoing evolution of Mandarin Oriental, Rome. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliProgressive Food Beverage leadership experience within luxury hospitality, preferably including senior management responsibility for multiple outlets and teams. /liliProven success leading large‑scale food beverage operations whilst consistently delivering outstanding guest experiences and financial results. /liliStrong commercial acumen with extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, profitability management and cost control. /liliComprehensive knowledge of restaurant, bar, in‑room dining, banqueting and culinary operations. /liliDemonstrated success in creating innovative dining concepts, experiences and revenue‑generating initiatives. /liliExceptional leadership, coaching and people development capabilities. /liliStrong analytical, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. /liliExcellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills. /liliExperience working within complex luxury hotel environments and multicultural teams. /liliStrong command of written and spoken English and Italian. /liliA genuine passion for hospitality, exceptional service and creating world‑class guest experiences. /li /ulh3Our Commitment To You /h3ulliLearning Development.
