Overview
As Lead Engineer in the Travel Things area, you guide a cross-functional team to shape AI-powered, personalized travel experiences that boost conversion and revenue. You work with product, data science, and UX to deploy real-time, personalized offers across a broad product portfolio. You will drive ML adoption, maintain high engineering standards, and mentor engineers while aligning with broader tech strategy. This role combines leadership with hands-on AI-enhanced product development in a fast-growing travel tech company.

Responsabilità
- Lead a high-performing backend and frontend engineering team with a focus on growth and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and UX designers to implement high-impact features.
- Drive the integration of machine learning models and personalization frameworks into customer-facing features.
- Ensure engineering quality through design and code reviews and robust testing standards.
- Monitor and improve team performance to maintain high-performance standards.
- Mentor engineers in technical and leadership paths.
- Coordinate with other engineering teams to maintain a cohesive technical strategy and delivery cadence.
Requisiti fondamentali
- Proven experience as a Lead Engineer with tech leadership in B2C or product-led settings.
- Hands-on or strong interest in applying ML/AI to product problems; experience with production ML is a plus.
- Understanding of personalization strategies and their impact on conversion and monetization.
- Ability to break down complex systems and drive business outcomes.
- Experience building distributed systems and REST APIs.
- Product-minded with a focus on real user problems and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management with cross-functional collaboration experience.
- Track record of driving initiatives impacting funnel performance or revenue KPIs.
