pbLead Electrical Engineer | Milan, Italy | Data Centre /b /ppbr/ppbEmployment Type: /bFull-time, Permanent /ppbSalary: /b €132,000- €144,000 /ppbr/ppbMane Contract Services /b are currently recruiting for an experienced bLead Electrical Engineer /b to join a leading international engineering contractor working on a major bdata centre project in Milan /b. /ppThis is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Electrical Engineer looking to take a bleadership role across electrical design, engineering coordination, installation, commissioning and handover /b. /ppbr/ppWith a significant pipeline of projects for the next b5+ years /b, this position offers long-term stability, career development and the opportunity to work on some of Europe's most technically advanced engineering projects. /ppbr/ppbThe Opportunity: /b /ppAs bLead Electrical Engineer /b, you will take responsibility for electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with the Project Manager, design team, BIM, construction teams, vendors and client. /ppYou'll ensure electrical designs are technically robust, constructible and compliant, while supporting successful installation, commissioning and handover. /ppThis is a hands-on leadership position offering significant technical responsibility and the opportunity to blead engineering activities and mentor junior engineers /b. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities: /b /pulliLead electrical engineering and bdesign management activities /b throughout the project /liliReview electrical designs and specifications, identifying bgaps, clashes and technical risks /b /liliValidate bcable sizing, technical assessments and electrical solutions /b /liliPrepare and manage electrical btechnical submittals and approvals /b /liliCoordinate electrical equipment procurement, delivery and technical compliance /liliWork closely with BIM and construction teams to ensure designs are bconstructible and coordinated /b /liliLiaise with clients, designers, vendors and subcontractors to resolve technical issues /liliMonitor engineering and installation progress against the construction programme /liliConduct belectrical system walk-downs /b to verify compliance with drawings and specifications /liliCoordinate testing, commissioning and handover activities /liliCompile and manage btest packs, FTOPs and OMs /b /liliManage specialist vendors throughout commissioning /liliProvide technical support to estimating, procurement, commercial and project bid teams /liliSupport QA processes and continuous improvement initiatives /liliMentor and coach junior engineers and graduates /li /ulpbr/ppbWhat We're Looking For: /b /ppWe're looking to speak with experienced Electrical Engineers with a strong background in bbuilding services, data centres or technically complex construction projects /b. /ppbr/ppbYou'll ideally have: /b /pulli3rd level qualification in bElectrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering /b /lilib7+ years' project engineering experience /b, preferably within construction /liliStrong experience with bLV and MV electrical systems /b /liliProven experience delivering projects within bData Centre, Commercial, Industrial or Pharmaceutical environments /b /liliKnowledge of bBS7671, ETCI, Building Regulations, EN and IEC standards /b /liliExperience with bAmtech, Dialux, AutoCAD 2D, Adobe Pro and MS Office /b /liliStrong experience managing bclients, vendors, contractors and design teams /b /liliExperience with technical reviews, assessments and submittals /liliStrong commercial awareness and project management skills /liliExcellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities /liliAbility to lead, influence and manage multiple priorities /liliStrong focus on bEHS, quality and work management processes /b /liliExperience mentoring and developing junior engineers /li /ulpbr/ppbWhat's On Offer?
