Head of DEI & CSR

Position

The Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing global strategies that foster an inclusive workplace culture while advancing the organization’s social and ethical commitments. The role partners closely with Executive Leadership, HR, business functions, and external stakeholders to embed diversity, equity, inclusion, and social responsibility into the company's operations and long-term business strategy. The role is also responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and management of internal and external DE&I and CSR communications, including defining key messaging, content, and supporting communication tools.

Job Responsibilities

• Foster an Inclusive Culture: champion a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging by role modelling inclusive behaviours and leading initiatives that strengthen employee engagement;
• Lead the Inclusion Strategy: act as a DE&I ambassador and drive the implementation of the global DE&I strategy, ensuring alignment with business needs and evolving priorities. Deliver on current strategic initiatives across key pillars, including equitable talent practices, inclusive leadership, employee resource groups (ERGs), accessibility, and awareness through training and education;
• Guide CSR and Social Engagement Programmes: develop and oversee initiatives focused on volunteering, philanthropy, social sustainability, and community engagement, that strengthen the company's social impact and align with business priorities;
• Monitor and Report: prepare annual CSR and DE&I reports, working with internal functions and external stakeholders, for senior leadership and LVMH, monitor progress against key objectives, and ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards and legal requirements;
• Advise on DE&I Matters: serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on DE&I topics, providing guidance on sensitive matters, supporting inclusive decision-making, and reviewing communications, policies, and materials to ensure alignment with DE&I principles;
• Manage Donations and Partnerships: oversee the operation of the corporate donations process by partnering with relevant functions to review requests, manage budgets, and build relationships with charities, NGOs, and other external partners that support the company's CSR strategy;
• Strengthen Employer Brand: partner with HR, Communications, and Marketing to position Loro Piana as an employer of choice recognised for its inclusive culture and responsible business practices.

Profile

• Master's Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (a degree in Green Management and/or Corporate Social Responsibility is considered a plus);
• 10 years of previous experience in an international organization within the HR, CSR or DE&I Function;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (in particular, PowerPoint and Excel);
• Excellent Project Management skills;
• Good analytical, reporting, planning and time management skills;
• Team management and global coordination leadership;
• Communication skills and ability to influence and engage relevant stakeholders;
• Strong attention to details;
• Proficient English, both spoken and written (the knowledge of a third language is considered a plus).

Additional Information

For new joiners in this role in Italy, the initial annual gross salary is EUR 78.000€.

This salary has been determined on the basis of objective and gender-neutral criteria and corresponds to the compensation normally granted for this position at the time of publication of this job posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as your unique combination of experience and skills, seniority, and current organizational needs.

This role also provides for participation in a bonus scheme, at Loro Piana's discretion, based on factors such as individual and/or company performance.

In addition to the benefits provided by law, further benefits may be granted in accordance with current company policies.

The employment relationship will be governed by the provisions of the applicable national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL Tessile, Abbigliamento e Moda) and the supplementary company agreement, as applied by Loro Piana in Italy.
