Job Summary
The British School Group Firenze is a dynamic and growing English language school committed to providing high‑quality language education in a supportive and professional environment. We are looking for an ambitious and results‑driven individual to lead our local branch.
The Role: The Director will be the face of our school in Firenze, responsible for the overall success of the branch. This is a crucial leadership role that requires a blend of academic oversight, business acumen, and strong personnel management skills.
Required Skills and Experience- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role, preferably within the education or service sector.
- Excellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken), C2 level required.
- Strong teaching/academic background (e.G., TEFL/CELTA certification, teaching experience, or academic management experience is highly desirable).
- Demonstrable commercial and sales skills with a track record of meeting targets.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and problem‑solving skills.
- TEFL certified, CELTA or Trinity preferred.
- Bachelors or Masters degree.
- Be a native level English speaker and hold valid working papers for Italy.
- Be able to obtain a clean DBS check.
- Passionate about both teaching and life.
