E-Business Planning and Analysis Intern

Valentino is looking for an Intern who will be included in E‑Business Department, based in Milan , and will support the team in the following activities:

Business Performance Monitoring

• Support daily/weekly/monthly monitoring of sales and main KPIs performance vs targets and vs last year. Identify insights on trend and performance gaps.
• Support the preparation of business reviews, consolidate data from multiple sources, assist in preparing presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Analyze product performance (categories, bestseller, etc), monitor sell‑through and stock availability and support the identification of commercial opportunities.
• Support cross‑functional activities with data extraction and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy.

Planning (Budgeting and Forecasting)

• Support the definition of the eBusiness sales targets by assisting the development of the monthly plan at Channel/Region/Full Price‑Markdown/Category level.
• Align with retail Planning team on seasonal planning and OTB development.
• Monitor the buying process, buying spent vs OTB, and ensure deviations are reflected in the Sales Plan.
• Support the Markdown flow actively managing inventory to maximize sales and achieve assigned targets.

Requirements

• Excellent analytical skills
• Expert knowledge of Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Power Point
• Knowledge of BO, Qlik and SAP is a plus
• Fluency in Italian and English
• Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Team working‑oriented, motivated with positive attitude and good relational skills
