This is a long-term assignment based in strongMilan (Home Office) /strong, with a project duration extending through strongDecember 31, 2027 /strong. /ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /ppThe role focuses on the supervision of instrumentation design, control systems integration, and technical documentation review: /pullistrongEngineering Document Review: /strong Systematic review, commenting, and validation of IC deliverables, including strongPIDs /strong (instrumentation part), Instrument Index, I/O lists, and Cause Effect matrices. /lilistrongControl Systems Oversight: /strong Providing technical expertise for the integration and revamping of strongDCS /strong (Distributed Control Systems), strongESD /strong (Emergency Shutdown Systems), and strongFG /strong (Fire Gas) systems on existing platforms. /lilistrongSubsea Instrumentation: /strong Reviewing specifications for subsea control modules, sensors, and umbilical terminations, ensuring reliable signal transmission and system interoperability. /lilistrongEquipment Specification: /strong Reviewing data sheets and technical requisitions for field instruments, control valves, and metering systems suitable for offshore/marine environments. /lilistrongTechnical Compliance: /strong Ensuring all instrumentation and control designs align with international standards (e.g., ISA, IEC 61508/61511 for Functional Safety) and specific project requirements. /lilistrongReporting Administration: /strong Accurate management and compilation of project strongtimesheets /strong, technical query (TQ) logs, and periodic engineering status reports. /lilistrongInterfacing: /strong Acting as the IC focal point between the Client, contractors, and other disciplines (Process, Electrical, and Subsea) to ensure seamless system integration. /li /ulpstrongRequired Qualifications Skills /strong /pullistrongExperience: /strong 10+ years of experience in Instrumentation Control Engineering within the strongOil Gas /strong sector, with specific expertise in strongOffshore and Subsea /strong projects. /lilistrongTechnical Knowledge: /strong Deep understanding of brownfield integration, Functional Safety (SIL), and subsea control architectures. /lilistrongStandards Expertise: /strong Familiarity with ATEX/IECEx requirements for hazardous areas and offshore-specific instrumentation codes. /lilistrongLanguages: /strong Full professional proficiency in strongEnglish /strong (written and spoken) is mandatory; knowledge of Italian is a strong asset. /lilistrongSoft Skills: /strong Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to technical detail, and the ability to manage complex technical documentation in a corporate office environment. /lilistrongStart Date: /strong Immediate. /lilistrongContract Type: /strong To be discussed based on the candidate's profile and seniority. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
