Manufacturing Quality Manager

Overview

In this role you help secure quality across materials, production, and finished goods by optimizing quality systems, leading investigations, and driving improvements. You will partner with cross-functional teams to reduce defects, implement core quality tools, and sustain safe, organized lab operations. The position offers hands-on problem solving at plant scale and opportunities to influence continuous improvement initiatives. You will work within Henkel's global quality culture to support sustainable performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsabilità

• Develop, implement, and improve quality control systems, procedures, and documentation
• Oversee testing and inspections across materials, production, packaging, and finished goods to ensure quality standards
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment; ensure preventive maintenance and MSA compliance
• Lead non-conforming material reviews (NCMR) and investigate root causes; implement countermeasures
• Utilize statistical methods to identify variation and drive improvements; report progress metrics
• Coordinate Quality core tools and problem-solving methods (NCM, A3, FRPS); act as SQC tool owner
• Sustain 5S organization in the laboratory; manage resources to meet KPIs
• Lead and train quality staff; enforce safety and coordinate site-wide quality improvement projects
• Coordinate PFMEA/Risk Assessments updates; participate in PFMEA workshops
• Involve Quality in NPI/MOC/MFO projects, supplier complaints (SCMS), and cross-functional problem solving
• Participate in MOS meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams on ongoing projects

Requisiti fondamentali

• Min. 5 years in a similar role (automotive sector preferred)
• Fluent in English
• Strong organization and planning abilities
• Excellent problem solving and root-cause-analysis skills
• Experience with Quality Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, SQC, MSA)
• Background in troubleshooting plant issues and project management
• Document management and recordkeeping
• ERP experience, preferably SAP
• Experience in cross-functional team leadership
