Our offering includes a leading portfolio from our trusted brands: Raychem, Tracer, Nuheat and Pyrotenax. /p h3Position Summary /h3 ul liTo direct and manage procurement requirements through liaison with new and existing suppliers and internal Project Execution, Proposal teams, and Project Coordination teams. /li liTo ensure that materials, equipment and services are sourced according to specification, within budget and to agreed timescales. /li liYou will report to the Thermal Supply Manager Europe. /li /ul h3Job Responsibilities /h3 pDuties include but are not limited to: /p ul liProvide functional support in purchasing of services and goods as specified by the Project Execution Team and support and obtain quotes for the Proposal teams. /li liAnalyze and compare suppliers’ quotation both technically and commercially and provide recommendations accordingly /li liLiaise with product management, marketing, functional leaders for new developments/products and organize training with suppliers base on this information /li liContract formulation and agreeing terms and conditions with vendor base /li liImplementing procurement strategy towards suppliers and towards Procurement Categories /li liDrive and comply with projects processes and procedures /li liVendor set up and establishment /li liLocal procurement responsibilities /li liThird party suppliers approval /li liDeal with Quality Insurance / Quality Controls problems and issues /li liLiaison with IMEX team for shipping /li liLiaison with PROJECT ADMINISTRATION team for shipping / export / transport in support of project execution /li liLiaison with PRODUCT MANAGEMENT team for Value Analysis / Value Engineering on products. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical preferred); Master degree is a plus. /li liIT skills: Experienced user of MS Office /li liLanguages: Fluent in English and Italian /li liExperience: at least 2-5 years of practical experience in procuring services as well as technical goods within a project oriented environment, preferable with an EI and/or petrochemical background /li liKnowledge of supply chain processes /li liTeam work in a multicultural / multinational environment /li liPrepared to travel within Europe occasionally /li liExperienced in prequalification of vendors, soliciting bids, evaluating offers, placing orders and expediting the delivery of goods and services /li liExperience in projects execution /li liPrevious experience in preparing commercial bid analysis, working closely with engineering departments in the completion of the bid analysis /li /ul h3Skills And Mindset /h3 ul liProject Scoping /li liCommunication skills – Presentation /li liTechnical skills /li liSourcing analysis /liliFinancial skills – cost analysis /li liRelationship management skills – Ethics – Conflict resolution – Creative problem solving /li /ul h3Other Information /h3 ul liThis position will be located at Milan (Italy) in a global oriented environment. /li liThis is a full-time position with a competitive package and an excellent environment to work, learn live. /li /ul h3At Chemelex /h3 pWe protect places of progress through electric excellence. /p pPioneering plants, sprawling data centers, busy transport hubs, and your own home.
