As an Analyst in Compass Lexecon's Competition Practice, you help clients understand how competition works in their industry through empirical analysis and economic theory. You'll work closely with senior staff on high-profile cases before the European Commission, General Court, and other authorities, contributing to literature reviews, data analysis, and client discussions. The role blends professional and academic environments, offering rapid responsibility and exposure to top firms and policymakers. You drive tangible impact by turning data into persuasive insights that inform strategic decisions.

Responsabilità

• Analyze qualitative and quantitative client data to understand competition dynamics
• Review literature and contribute to theoretical and empirical approaches
• Conduct empirical analysis using Excel and Stata
• Draft reports summarising analyses
• Participate in client meetings and conference calls

Requisiti fondamentali

• Master's degree in economics from a leading university, focusing on microeconomics, industrial organisation and/or econometrics
• Highly analytical
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task
• Effective communication with colleagues and clients
