Junior Hvacr Area Sales Manager

• Manage sales of YORK chillers/absorbers and SABROE chillers/heat pumps within the assigned area alongside a senior Area Manager, maximizing volume, turnover and margin.
• Conduct energy analysis and calculate pay‑back times to present high‑value solutions, focusing on large decarbonisation projects.

• Target opportunities within the HVACR sector that translate into profitable growth.
• Develop, communicate and implement a comprehensive plan to grow the YORK/SABROE brand across the area.
• Achieve sales targets in the assigned area.
• Deal directly with major customers within the area.
• Develop long‑term relationships with contractors, consulting engineers and end‑users.
• Understand customer needs and align them with JCI products and services.
• Position York/Johnson Controls as the preferred HVAC supplier in the area.
• Partner with other sales teams to maximise profit, influence specifications, and manage pricing.
• Stay updated on products and competitors.
• Report sales figures.
• Grow and update the pipeline regularly.
• Identify new markets or industrial sectors for heat pumps to boost decarbonisation.

• Previous experience in the HVACR industry, specialising in chiller/heat‑pump applications.
• Strong expertise in energy analysis and pay‑back calculations.
• Sales experience in the chiller/heat‑pump industrial market with a proven track record.
• Technical knowledge to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Excellent ability to create new accounts and opportunities.
• Strong communication skills, proven in a commercial environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
