We need your passion, innovative ideas, and creativity to help take us to new heights. /p pWe are currently seeking a Business Affairs Executive that will provide support across all of the scripted, unscripted and features deals in Italy. /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport discussions with and for production companies, IP, and above-the-line talent to help achieve business objectives and support wider Amazon goals. /li liNavigate ambiguity by adapting quickly and solving unfamiliar problems. /li liCommunicate across teams including Creative, Production, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and external stakeholders. /li liManage high-volume workloads efficiently while staying composed under pressure. /li liAdvise senior-level executives and build strong relationships through clear risk analysis and cross-departmental collaboration. /li /ul h3A day in the life /h3 pThe candidate will support discussions with and for production companies, producers, IP incl. original scripts, book rights, format rights, ATL incl. writers, directors, on-screen talent, and other related deals. /p pThe candidate will interact with managers, agents, managing directors and outside attorneys and will efficiently communicate status and tradeoffs with other members of the Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video team including Creative, Production, Marketing, Finance, Tax, Accounting, Legal and Distribution, as well as executives outside of Amazon. /p pThe candidate will apply a comprehensive working knowledge of international film and TV industry models, development and production methodologies. The candidate will also demonstrate the ability to think abstractly, adapt quickly in ambiguous or unstructured environments, and effectively navigate new or unfamiliar situations and problems. /p pThe candidate will manage a varied, high-volume workload efficiently and smoothly, operate within corporate parameters, and remain cool and levelheaded in high-pressure situations. The candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues in this department and across Amazon, build strong internal client relationships, effectively advise senior-level executives under time-sensitive conditions, and generate client satisfaction through clear thinking and risk analysis. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liLaw or business degree. /li liExperience with complex commercial agreements (underlying rights, work-for-hire productions, co-productions, licenses, distribution) and talent agreements (authors, writers, directors, actors, producers) with a solid understanding of legal and commercial terminology and reasoning. /li liExtended experience in the entertainment sector, representing or working for a media law firm, film or TV production company, studio or network. /li liExperience with the entertainment industry, customs, and practices. /li liSpeak, write, and read fluently in Italian and English. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liUnderstanding of media business models and the ability to devise new ones /li liExperience in streaming industry. /li liDeep interest in technology and innovation. /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated. /p pAmazon reserves the right to offer a higher salary and/or level, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. Amazon's package may include a sign on payment. In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA.
