Our people truly are our greatest asset! /ph3Your role – Are you ready for a challenge? /h3pOperating as a critical component of our second line of defense, you will provide independent oversight and objective challenge. You will lead the management of regulatory compliance and AML/CTF risks, ensuring all operations align with the letter and spirit of relevant laws, regulations, and market standards. /ph3Your Responsibilities Will Be As Follows /h3ulliCustomer Due Diligence (CDD) on clients during onboarding stage and throughout the contract lifecycle; /liliSARs/STRs duties and responsibilities: investigate anomalous behaviours, gather supporting documentation, and file Suspicious Activity/Transaction Reports directly with the Italian FIU; /liliProduction of required regulatory reports (including risk self-assessment for IVASS/SARA, etc.) and draft ad hoc internal compliance reports for senior management; /liliManagement of the relationships with the Regulator, including handling on-site inspections and routine correspondence; /liliResearch and interpretation of new Italian and EU AML/CTF legislation, including keeping track of IVASS/Banca d’Italia communications and guidance to the industry. Provision of guidance and recommendations to the business. Liaise with senior management on regulatory matters; /liliDevelopment, implementation, on-going update and review of internal regulatory compliance policies and procedures in accordance with domestic and EU regulations, in cooperation with the Head Office Compliance function; /liliCompliance Monitoring Programme (CMP) checks on the business activities; periodic review of the programme in light of the most recent legal/regulatory changes and implementation of necessary developments in internal control mechanisms and processes; /liliOngoing engagement and cooperation with the Head Office to deliver daily activities and tasks, as well as to share any relevant regulatory changes impacting the business. /li /ulh3Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Compliance Specialist? /h3ulliMaster’s degree in Economics, Law or a related discipline, ideally with a focus on Compliance, Internal Controls, Risk Management or similar fields; /liliMinimum 5 years’ experience in an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Compliance related function, preferably in the insurance/banking sector; /liliStrong knowledge of Italian and EU AML laws and regulations; /liliGood command of MS Office applications; /liliWell- organised and flexible approach, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage daily tasks independently; /liliHigh attention to detail and a rigorous approach to work, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with high-quality standards; /liliAble to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and priorities and meeting tight deadlines; /liliStrong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to assess complex situations and identify effective, data-driven solutions; /liliCollaborative and proactive team player; /liliNative Italian speaker, with fluency in English is mandatory. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliProfessional certifications (CAMS, AMLCERT etc) /liliExperience in regulatory reporting and/or familiarity with Luxembourg AML regulations; /liliGood experience with Bank of Italy's Infostat platform. /li /ulpAs an equal opportunity employer, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to gender, colour, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. /ppGiven the sensitive nature of our business, industry sector and the role as described, the selected candidate is required to provide a criminal record (Bulletin n°3 for Luxembourgish residents).
