Overview
Experteer Overview In this role you will ensure welding process quality and conformance to codes, design specs, and contractual obligations on site in Monfalcone. You will lead welding qualification activities, author procedures and qualification records, and oversee lab and fabrication tests. You will apply process engineering fundamentals, support robotics in welding, and ensure compliance with nuclear safety culture. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position shaping welding solutions for critical nuclear applications.Responsibilities
- Coordinate welding qualification and test activities for procedures, mock-ups, and fabrication
- Apply codes and welding processes to real-world fabrication and testing
- Manage multiple welding tasks and projects concurrently
- Develop prototypes to validate welding solution designs
- Apply process engineering principles to welding procedures
- Implement robotics in welding activities
- Author and maintain welding procedures, PWQ/R, welders/operators qualifications, and related documentation
- Select filler materials per job based on codes and contract requirements
- Apply knowledge of welding materials to design and manufacturing solutions across processes and materials
- Bachelor of Engineering (Materials or Mechanical preferred)
- Welding Technologist or Welding Engineer certification (IWT/IWE) mandatory
- 5–10 years of experience in engineering, welding and inspection
- Solid understanding of ASME, EN, RCC-M codes and related ASTM/EN standards for tests, welding, and materials
- Advanced English proficiency (C1)
