Product Lead (Strategy + Full Stack)

We’re looking for a hands-on Product Lead to join our small but driven 100% remote team. This is a rare hybrid role: roughly 60% product leadership  (roadmap, prioritization, specs, analytics) and 40% full stack development . You’ll work alongside our full-stack web developer, and as we expand the Product Team, your focus will shift increasingly toward product and team leadership, running 1-on-1s, recruiting, and building your own team to improve our products, with a clear path toward Head of Product.

Our portfolio includes  CryptoRunner.com  (the largest cryptocurrency comparison platform in Northern Europe),  InvestoRunner.com  (the largest stock market comparison platform in Sweden), and  CreditRunner.com  (a new credit card comparison platform launching soon).

Our mission is to build the world’s biggest and most trusted portfolio of financial comparison platforms, helping millions of people make better financial decisions. To date, we’ve generated over 8 million views and delivered more than 1.8 million referrals to our partners. With approximately 44,000 monthly active users and 35,000+ subscribers, you’ll have a strong existing audience and foundation to build on.

In 2026, we relaunched our websites on fully custom-built platforms, replacing our previous WordPress setup (see full tech stack below). The new platforms are connected to our in-house admin system, with integrations to multiple AI models and third-party API providers, giving us greater flexibility, scalability, and control as we grow. AI is deeply integrated into the admin system and across development, content, and operations. Over the past year we’ve shipped 970+ updates, and our product backlog holds 350+ tasks. Your job: review our platforms and product backlog, decide what to prioritize, and turn ideas into new features — with direct support from the founder, a former web developer who built our first platforms line by line.

Responsibilities:

• Own the product roadmap across our platforms — prioritize, spec, and drive execution from idea to launch
• Build and ship features hands-on alongside our web developer , improving site architecture, performance, and conversion flows
• Lead and grow the product team — manage team members, run 1-on-1s and performance reviews, and take part in recruitment as we scale
• Build our engineering workflow — set up development routines, code review, testing and deployment processes so multiple developers can ship safely, with documentation so knowledge is never siloed
• Make data-first decisions — turn user data, market insights, and analytics into actions that move traffic, conversion, and revenue per visitor

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full stack development experience — you can independently build, deploy, and maintain production web applications, and set up the workflows (Git, code review, CI/CD) for your team to do the same
• A track record you can show — live products, sites, or projects you’ve built or led, and the ability to walk us through the decisions behind them
• Strong backend, database, and architecture skills — data accuracy is critical to us, as we track and report statistics to 450+ partners
• Proven product ownership with commercial instincts — you’ve decided what to build, not just built what was decided, and you understand how those decisions translate into revenue
• Independent and async-first — you drive your own work in a small remote team and document decisions clearly in writing
• Genuine interest in cryptocurrencies, investing, and personal finance — and high standards for what a great comparison platform looks like

Tech Stack:

• Backend: PHP 8.2+ / Laravel 12 — one codebase powering the public sites and our in-house admin CMS/API
• Frontend: Server-rendered Laravel Blade with Alpine.js, Livewire (admin), Tailwind CSS, and Vite — no React/Next.js
• Database: MySQL, with Redis for cache, queues, and realtime (Laravel Reverb)
• Infrastructure: Linux VPS with Nginx and PHP-FPM, automated deploys via GitHub Actions
• Integrations: AI models via multiple providers (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) plus third-party API integrations powering our platforms and admin system

Location & Availability :

This is a fully remote position; however, candidates should be able to maintain reasonable overlap with European business hours (CET/CEST) for meetings and team collaboration. We welcome applications from candidates worldwide, except residents of the United States.

Compensation :

USD 48,000–90,000 gross per year, consisting of a fixed base salary (USD 48,000–60,000, based on experience) and a revenue-tied performance bonus. You’ll receive paid time off and public holidays in line with the standards of your country of employment. Additional benefits and reimbursements may apply depending on your location.
