Head Of Product (Remote)

We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager - API in Bulgaria.

This role is focused on leading the strategy, development, and management of core API products that serve developers and institutional clients globally. The Senior Product Manager - API will define the product roadmap, set standards for API design and security, and ensure an exceptional developer experience. The role requires deep technical understanding, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable product plans. Your work will directly impact developer adoption, API usage, and the broader ecosystem of financial applications built on these APIs. This position offers the opportunity to influence key technical decisions while shaping the API strategy in a fast-growing, remote-first environment.

Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for core API products, including authentication, error handling, rate limiting, and versioning policies

Serve as the primary reviewer for API design and changes, ensuring adherence to quality, performance, and usability standards

Produce detailed product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, and API specifications (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI) for clarity across teams

Monitor and analyze key metrics and service-level objectives (SLOs) to inform roadmap decisions and product improvements

Act as the primary advocate for developers and institutional clients, ensuring their needs are reflected in API features and enhancements

5+ years of product management experience, with strong focus on API products or developer platforms

• Deep understanding of RESTful API design, authentication/authorization methods (OAuth, API keys), and asynchronous API flows
• Experience writing clear API documentation and working with OpenAPI/AsyncAPI specifications
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform product decisions
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Nice-to-have: background in engineering, experience in fintech/brokerage, familiarity with gRPC/WebSockets, remote-first work experience, and knowledge of trading workflows
