Continuous Improvement and Operations Coordinator

On behalf of the Italian subsidiary of the group – SSC Italy – we are seeking passionate individuals with a strong background in telecommunications or space engineering and extensive experience in ground operations to support one of our customers in Italy.
Degree in Telecommunications , Aerospace Engineering , Computer Science , or a related field.
Proven extensive experience in spacecraft operations , including direct involvement in LEOP activities.
Strong knowledge of TT&C systems , ground networks , and mission control infrastructure .
Familiarity with ground segment monitoring and telemetry handling .
Advanced level of English and excellent communication skills .
Legal and Security Requirements
As Ground Operations Manager you will be responsible for coordinating the preparation and execution of ground segment activities. Ground Operations Procedures (GOP) preparation and validation.
Lead the integration and testing of new ground segment systems and tools.
Lead and coordinate real-time ground operations activities during LEOP and commissioning phases, also outside office hours.
Monitor ground station performance, network connectivity, and data flow.
Monitor and analyze ground system performance to maintain high service availability.
Maintain and update ground operations documentation and training material.
Preparation of training sessions for the Ground Segment Team.
Supporting the continuous improvement of operations.
Work closely with the Operations Team and the external ground service providers to ensure operational readiness.
