Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Remote)

We are currently looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Discover in Italy.

Design, build, and scale the discovery feed and recommendation engine that powers how users find creators, communities, and digital products.

Productionize machine learning models end‑to‑end, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability in consumer‑facing environments.

Leverage data analysis, experimentation, and engineering intuition to make high‑quality decisions that accelerate product‑market fit.

Collaborate closely with executive leadership, product, and cross‑functional engineering teams to translate strategic vision into technical execution.

Continuously optimize algorithm quality, relevance, and performance to deliver engaging, goal‑oriented discovery experiences.

Contribute to system architecture and backend engineering efforts that support real‑time recommendations at scale.

5+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience, including at least 2+ years focused on machine learning, recommendation systems, or large‑scale data products.

• Strong backend and data engineering expertise, including system design and deploying ML models into production environments.
• Experience working with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, and performance optimization of ML systems.
• Fluent English communication skills (C2 level or equivalent), suited for remote, asynchronous collaboration.
