Charting Delivering the Voyage (End-to-End Design + Design System) /h3 ul liOwn the full design process across web and mobile - from research and IA through high-level concepts and detailed design /li liDrive structured alignment across IA, information flow, high-level flows, and detailed designs. /li liBalance user needs with business goals, technical constraints, and fleet-wide operational realities /li liStrengthen/evolve our design system to maintain consistency and quality, ensuring component consistency with developers /li /ul h32. Keeping the Digital Shipyard Shipshape (Workflow, Handoffs Quality + Collaboration) /h3 ul liProactively manage timelines, identify risks early, and chart remedy paths /li liContribute measurable improvements in design workflows and project KPIs /li liUse AI-supported workflows to accelerate prototyping, ideation and pattern generation /li liInspire stakeholders and cross-functional partners by showcasing best-in-class UX, promoting best practices, and improving collaboration rituals /li liMentor junior designers and ensure design quality across teams /li /ul h33. Surveying the Seas Ahead (Research, Evaluation Analytics) /h3 ul liPlan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, persona mapping, landscape review, and summative testing /li liTranslate insights into actionable design strategies, journey maps and opportunity frameworks /li liPerform Google Analytics (GA4)-driven usage analysis, evaluate live behaviours, and design tagging strategies to guide data-informed product improvements /li /ul h34. Powering the Future Fleet (AI-First Experiences + Innovation) /h3 ul liCreate AI-supported or AI-first workflows with probabilistic outcomes that elevate user efficiency and reduce operational costs /li liDesign advanced data visualisation and analytics views for tactical decision-making /li liMonitor industry trends, conduct competitive analysis, and embed innovation into the product roadmap /li liEvaluate AI-generated insights and integrate them into design strategy /li /ul h3Relationship /h3 h3INTERNAL: /h3 ul liInternal Product Owners Stakeholders /li liProduct Teams (based in HK India); Development, Ops Support (based in HK India); /li /ul h3EXTERNAL /h3 ul liInteraction with suppliers and/or third-party solutions /li /ul h3Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications /h3 h3ESSENTIAL: /h3 ul li4-7+ years’ experience in UX/Product Design for complex, multi-platform systems /li liPortfolio showing systems-level thinking, research-led decisions, and measurable impact. /li liStrong skills in research planning, usability testing, behavioural analytics, and insight translation. /li liProven ability to present and defend design decisions to senior stakeholders with clear storytelling /li liDemonstrated contribution to product strategy and KPI-aligned UX outcomes /li liExcellent collaboration and facilitation across engineering, product, marketing, and leadership teams /li liExpertise in Figma, component-based design, and confidence with (or motivation to learn) AI/LLM-driven workflows /li /ul h3DESIRABLE: /h3 ul liExperience designing AI-supported experiences, data visualisation dashboards, or mobile-first solutions /li liFamiliarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript enough to collaborate effectively with development teams /li liExperience in maritime, logistics, or safety-critical environments /li liBachelor’s degree in HCI, Design, or equivalent practical experience /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liAnalysis and Problem Solving: Uses a systematic approach to root cause analysis on complex problems to identify underlying trends and put forward well-thought-out solutions to address the causes and reduce risk. /li liListening and Communicating: Is effective in communicating his vision with a wider audience.
