Business Development Manager

ppAB Mauri is a dynamic global group of yeast and bakery ingredients companies and is part of the listed multinational Associated British Foods plc. /p pWe are looking for a bBusiness Development Manager /b to join our team in Italy and support the growth of our bakery ingredients business within the industrial and mid-sized customer segment. /p pWorking in close partnership with both commercial and technical teams at local and EMEA level, this role offers an excellent career opportunity within a truly international environment at one of Europe’s leading ingredients companies. /p pThe successful candidate will be based in Cologne (BS) and will spend a significant proportion of their time travelling to customers and business partners. /p pThis is a full-time position. /p h3About the role /h3 pThe purpose of this role is to lead business growth in the Italian bakery ingredients market by promoting and expanding an innovative, high-quality product portfolio, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with key industrial customers. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liPromote safe working practices and ensure health and safety standards are upheld. /li liDrive business growth in the Italian bakery ingredients market through commercial and technical development activities; /li liIdentify customer needs and translate them into tailored solutions in collaboration with commercial and technical teams; /li liDevelop strong relationships with key industrial customers and relevant internal stakeholders at local and EMEA level; /li liContribute to the country technology roadmap and support the implementation of innovation and application projects. /li /ul h3What we are looking for /h3 ul liSolid track record in business development, preferably within the bakery ingredients or food ingredients sector; /li liStrong commercial acumen and customer orientation; /li liGood understanding of financial drivers and sound business awareness; /li liStrategic mindset, with the ability to identify and develop growth opportunities; /li liStrong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills; /li liSolid understanding of bakery formulas, baking ingredients and related manufacturing processes and equipment; /li liWorking knowledge of enzymes; /li liKnowledge and experience in flours, improver systems, preservation systems, sourdough and frozen technology. /li /ul pBusiness Development Manager • Lombardy, Italy /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
