AI Software Engineer

Overview

As an AI-first Full-stack Software Engineer at Treatwell, you will build internal tools and customer-ready features, leveraging AI coding assistants to accelerate delivery while upholding high standards. You'll work in the AI Engineering team under the Chief AI Officer, shaping prototypes into reliable software and integrating AI capabilities with third-party services. You'll collaborate with product, design and engineers in a cross-functional Agile setup to solve real user problems and scale our Europe-wide platform.

Responsabilità

• Design, prototype, and maintain full-stack apps using TypeScript, Node.js, and React
• Collaborate with internal users, PMs, designers and engineers to identify problems and deliver tools in short iterations
• Leverage AI coding tools and agent workflows to accelerate development, testing, and debugging
• Integrate third-party APIs and services, ensuring robust connections
• Participate in code reviews and architecture decisions
• Move prototypes to dependable software with testing, performance, security and error handling
• Ensure quality through good UX and solid technical design

Requisiti fondamentali

• 2+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Hands-on use of AI coding assistants and agents in development workflows
• Experience integrating LLM APIs and AI services
• Strong back-end experience with Node.js or similar JS runtime
• Experience building frontends with React or equivalent; comfortable across backend tools
• Solid REST API design, OAuth, and third-party API integration
• Strong problem-solving and communication, comfortable with ambiguity
