Convertix is an international digital growth agency specialising in Paid Media, SEO, Analytics, CRO and international eCommerce.

Convertix Italy is entering its next growth phase. Following several recent client wins, our Italian Paid Media portfolio has grown significantly and now includes complex international eCommerce brands operating across multiple markets and channels.

We are therefore looking for a Senior Paid Media Manager / Paid Media Lead who can take a key role in building the next stage of our Paid Media capability in Italy.

This is not a purely managerial position.

We are looking for someone who is still highly hands‑on, enjoys working directly inside advertising platforms and can personally lead sophisticated Paid Media accounts, while progressively taking responsibility for quality, strategy and team development across our Italian portfolio.

The role

You will take senior responsibility for Paid Media delivery across Convertix Italy, working closely with our existing Italian Paid Media team and the wider Convertix Paid Media organisation in Spain.

You will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution .

We don't need someone who only creates strategies and delegates implementation. We need someone who can move comfortably between analysing business performance, designing account strategy, reviewing campaign architecture, challenging tracking and data, optimising campaigns and discussing commercial performance directly with senior client stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

Client & account leadership

• Take senior ownership of complex Italian Paid Media accounts.
• Develop Paid Media strategies based on business objectives, profitability and growth opportunities.
• Translate commercial objectives into channel, market, campaign and budget strategies.
• Lead or participate in strategic and performance meetings with clients.
• Identify performance problems and growth opportunities proactively rather than waiting for client requests.
• Communicate confidently with senior marketing and eCommerce stakeholders.

Hands‑on Paid Media

• Manage and optimise campaigns directly when required.
• Provide advanced expertise across Google Ads and Meta Ads .
• Review account and campaign structures, bidding strategies, audiences, creative performance, feeds and budget allocation.
• Work across multiple markets, brands and campaign objectives.
• Analyse performance beyond platform KPIs, connecting media performance with revenue, profitability and wider business objectives.
• Work closely with Analytics/CRO specialists where tracking, attribution or conversion performance requires deeper analysis.

Quality & team development

• Establish and maintain high Paid Media quality standards across the Italian portfolio.
• Review and challenge account strategies and execution.
• Support and develop our existing Paid Media specialists.
• Introduce structured QA, documentation and account‑management processes.
• Help determine resource allocation and capacity as the Italian portfolio grows.
• Over time, take increasing leadership responsibility for the Italian Paid Media team.

International collaboration

• Work closely with our Paid Media Director and teams in Spain.
• Share methodologies, learnings and best practices across Convertix.
• Collaborate with SEO, Analytics, CRO and Growth Strategy teams on integrated client strategies.
• Help build an Italian Paid Media operation that can increasingly manage its portfolio independently while remaining fully integrated with the wider Convertix organisation.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone with approximately 5+ years of strong hands‑on Paid Media experience , ideally including agency experience and sophisticated eCommerce accounts.

You should have:

• Advanced Google Ads experience.
• Strong Meta Ads experience.
• Experience managing significant advertising budgets.
• Strong eCommerce and performance marketing knowledge.
• Experience working with multi‑market and ideally multi‑country accounts.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with revenue, ROAS, MER, CAC, conversion rates and profitability metrics.
• Good understanding of tracking, attribution, GA4 and eCommerce measurement.
• Experience presenting strategy and performance directly to clients.
• The ability to challenge both clients and internal specialists constructively.
• Strong organisation and project ownership.
• Native or professional‑level Italian.
• Strong professional English.

Experience with Shopping, Performance Max, Merchant Center and product feeds is particularly relevant.

Additional experience with Microsoft Ads, international expansion, CRO, Analytics, feed‑management platforms or other performance channels is a plus.

The person we're looking for

Technical expertise alone isn't enough for this role.

We need someone who takes ownership .

Someone who sees a problem and investigates it rather than waiting to be told what to do.

Someone comfortable saying:

"This campaign is performing, but I don't think we're asking the right business question."

You should be able to work autonomously while knowing when a problem requires senior escalation.

You should enjoy developing other people without needing to stop being an operator yourself.

And you should be comfortable joining an organisation that is growing quickly. Some structures already exist and work well. Others still need to be built. We want someone who finds that exciting rather than frustrating.
