No /ph3Offer Description /h3pThe project aims to evaluate the efficacy of bovine lactoferrin (bLf) and the Valpalf® formulation, preparedbr/by combining bLf with sodium citrate and sodium bicarbonate, in in vitro models of inflammatory bowelbr/diseases. Caco-2 cells and THP-1 cells differentiated into macrophages will be used to simulate enterocytesbr/and immune response, respectively. Experimental models will reproduce ulcerative colitisbr/(lipopolysaccharide stimulation) and Crohn’s disease (interferon-γ stimulation and infection with an E. colibr/bacterial strain).
