Global Treasury Manager

Job Description:

The Global Treasury Manager is responsible for building and running an effective international treasury model across a multi-entity group, with direct accountability for liquidity, banking structure, payment governance, intercompany funding, financial risk, and treasury process discipline.

The role operates in a group of more than 30 companies across multiple jurisdictions, of which approximately one third are operating entities, requiring strong coordination of liquidity, payment flows, and intercompany balances in a moderately structured international environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee global cash positioning and liquidity management across all regions
• Support in the design and implementation, together with relevant Group and finance structures, a cash pooling system, centralized cash visibility, and treasury processes, starting from basic tools and progressively building a more robust control framework
• Formalize payment procedures, approval workflows, and intercompany settlement processes, coordinating with accounting teams to ensure consistency, control, and timely execution across entities
• Monitoring and supporting improvements in cash conversion cycle
• Drive treasury and payment process discipline across the organization, introducing orderly, proceduralized ways of working and ensuring their effective adoption and ongoing compliance
• Develop and maintain – within current Finance ecosystem - short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, improving forecast accuracy and supporting strategic decision making
• Manage global banking relationships and treasury service providers
• Manage foreign exchange, interest rate, liquidity and counterparty risks
• Support financing activities including debt facilities and working capital financing
• Prepare treasury reports and cash flow analyses for executive leadership
• Define and implement Group Treasury Policies and Procedures, together with treasury internal controls
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices

Leadership & Team Management
• Coordinate one direct report and maintain functional oversight of approximately 15 professionals within local accounting teams involved in payments, approvals, cash execution, and intercompany transactions
• Act as a strong change agent, with the energy and determination to build new processes, simplify fragmented practices, and embed disciplined ways of working across the group
• Drive treasury transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field
• Professional qualification such as ACT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent is considered as a plus
• Minimum 7 years of progressive Treasury, Corporate Finance, Financial Management experience
• Direct experience in implementation of cash pooling and treasury systems
• Experience within a multinational or global organization.
• Strong experience in cash management, liquidity planning, FX risk management and banking relationships across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
• Experience with debt facilities, cash pooling and intercompany funding structures.
