DevOps Engineer

Overview

In this role you help Deel bridge development and IT operations to enable fast, reliable delivery of the platform. You'll work with cross-functional teams to improve deployment processes, automate tasks, and ensure scalable, secure, high-performing systems for customers worldwide. Your work reduces downtime and accelerates feature releases, directly supporting Deel's mission to enable a more inclusive global economy. You will tackle challenging infrastructure problems at scale and contribute to resilient operations.

Responsabilità

• Operate and optimize AWS production deployments (SaaS) on EKS
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and IaC for cloud-based production systems
• Develop tooling to enforce DevOps practices and automate repetitive tasks
• Enhance production stability, availability, and reliability
• Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot product microservices and databases
• Design and manage monitoring and observability tooling for issue resolution

Requisiti fondamentali

• 5+ years of DevOps experience in production
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Drone, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar)
• Solid IT background
• Knowledge of networking (K8S ingress, services, load balancers) and AWS services (EKS, Postgres, S3, Mongo, SES, SNS, SQS)
• Experience in automated deployment and infrastructure
• Familiarity with alerting and monitoring tools
