With $6.9 billion in sales, a strong customer base and global reach spanning nearly 70 countries, we are uniquely positioned to deliver greater value to our customers and create new opportunities for our people. /p pWe are currently seeking a Product Manager, Low Voltage Distribution to join our dynamic team in Bologna, Italy! /p pDue to continued growth, we are recruiting for a Product Manager to support the development and growth of the LV Switchgears (below 1,5kV) line of business across EMEA, with clear ownership of product lifecycle, market requirements, profitability, sales enablement, and go-to-market execution. /p pThe successful candidate will concentrate on the strategic and operational management of the LV Switchgears portfolio, ensuring alignment with customer needs, regional market opportunities, and the company’s overall EMEA and global product strategy. /p h3Duties Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage the full lifecycle of the LV Switchgears portfolio, including new product introduction (NPDI process), line extensions, product updates, rationalization, and end-of-production planning (phase-in / phase-out process). /li liGather and prioritize customer, channel, and market requirements through direct engagement with sales teams, consultants, contractors, distributors, and end users. /li liDefine and communicate voice-of-customer requirements and support product business cases for new developments and enhancements. /li liResearch market trends, demand drivers, specification practices, and competitor positioning in LV switchgear markets. /li liDevelop regional go-to-market plans and support sales and marketing strategies to maximize portfolio revenue and profitability. /li liManage product line profitability, pricing guidance, forecast assumptions, and corrective actions to support business targets. /li liSupport sales teams on technical positioning, product education, competitive comparisons, and major project opportunities requiring deep application knowledge. /li liPrepare and deliver technical presentations, product training, launch materials, and sales enablement collateral for internal and external stakeholders. /li liWork with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve lead time, availability, quality, and lifecycle support of the LV portfolio. /li liCollaborate with consultants and contractors, in coordination with Technical Sales, to help secure inclusion of LV switchgear solutions within project specifications. /li liAttend trade shows, conferences, customer visits, and other relevant events to strengthen market visibility and gather market intelligence. /li liCommunicate regularly with senior management and provide periodic updates on product performance, market developments, pipeline quality, win rate and strategic opportunities. /li /ul h3Essential Criteria /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced degree preferred (such as MS.c etc.) /li liAt least 5 years’ previous experience in product management, technical marketing, application engineering, or strategic business development within power distribution or adjacent electrical infrastructure markets. /li liStrong knowledge of LV switchgear technologies, applications, customer requirements, and procurement procedures within the industry. /li liDemonstrated ability to translate customer needs into product roadmaps, business cases, and commercial actions. /li liStrong commercial acumen with the ability to manage growth, profitability, pricing, and portfolio priorities. /li liEnglish Business Proficiency (at least C1) is a requirement. /li liExceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop technical and commercial presentations. /li liProven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and supply chain. /li liProficient in Microsoft Office and relevant business systems such as CRM and planning tools. /li liMotivated, professional, self-driven, and goal-orientated approach. /li liAbility to travel across the region as required. /li /ul pThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities. /p pbOUR CORE PRINCIPALS /b: Safety.
