data center infrastructure. /p pThe role ensures service continuity, operational excellence, and compliance with technical, safety and contractual requirements, through the management of maintenance activities, incidents, changes, and technical vendors. /p pThe Data Center Operations Engineer (DCOE) operates with autonomy on day-to-day operations, acting as a key interface between internal teams, customers, and service providers. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Technical Operations /h3 ul liEnsure the continuous operation of critical infrastructure (electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire protection, low current systems) /li liMonitor infrastructure performance using BMS and monitoring tools /li liSupports, validates, follows-up and manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities /li liEnsure compliance with design standards, operational procedures, and safety requirements /li liParticipate in commissioning, testing, and handover activities when applicable /li /ul h3Incident Problem Management /h3 ul liOwn the incident management lifecycle: detection, assessment, escalation, resolution, and closure /li liCoordinate and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) and define corrective and preventive actions /li liTrack and ensure completion of action plans related to incidents and risks /li liParticipate in and support incident simulation drills and crisis scenarios /li /ul h3Change Maintenance Management /h3 ul liPlan, review, and supervise maintenance schedules and interventions /li liEnsure proper execution of change management processes, minimizing operational risks /li liUse maintenance management tools (CMMS or equivalent) to track activities, performance, and compliance /li liEnsure all activities are properly documented and aligned with procedures /li /ul h3Vendor Contract Management /h3 ul liManage technical service providers on-site (multi-technical, maintenance, specialized vendors) /li liMonitor vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations /li liLead performance reviews, issue escalation, and continuous improvement actions /li liEnsure vendors comply with health safety, operational, and quality standards /li /ul h3Customer Stakeholder Interface /h3 ul liAct as a technical point of contact for customers during maintenance operations and incidents /li liSupport customer audits, certifications, and reporting needs /li liParticipate in contractual and operational meetings with customers /li liEnsure clear and timely communication on incidents, maintenance, and risks /li /ul h3Reporting Documentation /h3 ul liProduce and review operational and monthly reports /li liMaintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation (procedures, reports, asset data) /li liEnsure proper documentation of incidents, changes, and maintenance activities /li /ul h3Safety /h3 ul liEnsure strict application of DATA4 Health Safety rules by all third-party companies operating on site (contractors, vendors, service providers) /li liVerify compliance with safety procedures, work permits (PTW), LOTO, and site-specific HSE requirements before and during interventions /li liIdentify and manage co-activities risks within the area of responsibility, especially during planning and scheduling of maintenance works and projects /li liCoordinate with relevant stakeholders to prevent conflicts between simultaneous activities and ensure safe execution conditions /li liConduct regular safety inspections and audits of ongoing works and contractor activities /li liReport unsafe situations, near misses, and deviations, ensuring immediate corrective actions /li liActively participate in the investigation and root cause analysis (RCA) of incidents occurring within the scope of responsibility /li liContribute to continuous improvement of safety practices and promote a strong safety culture on site /li /ul h3RESPONSIBILITES IN TERMS OF IMS CERTIFICATIONS /h3 pRespect and electrical, mechanical, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) /li liMinimum 5 years of experience in operations, critical facilities, or industrial environments (data center experience is a plus) /li liExperience in maintenance, incident management, or technical operations roles /li liExperience working with external vendors or service providers /li liProfessional working proficiency in English /li /ul h3Technical skills /h3 ul liSolid understanding of electrical (HV/LV), mechanical/cooling, and fire safety systems in operational environments, with hands-on exposure to maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety practices (e.g. LOTO, redundancy, critical systems) /li liExperience using monitoring tools (BMS or equivalent) to track performance, alarms, and system status /li liProven experience in incident management and root cause analysis (RCA), with a structured and rigorous approach /li liExperience planning and overseeing maintenance activities, with attention to quality, safety, and documentation /li liExposure to change management and SLA-driven environments, with ability to monitor performance and ensure compliance /li liExperience working with technical service providers, with ability to coordinate, elevate, and drive resolution /li liStrong communication skills, able to interact effectively with technical teams, vendors, and customers /li /ul h3Soft
