Social & Performance Senior Consultant

Overview

Agency: Havas Media Group. Havas Media Network is looking for a Senior Social & Performance Consultant to strengthen the Digital team. The role reports directly to the Head of Performance & Retail Media and is key to managing and developing digital media strategies for prominent clients.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end campaign management: supervise and independently manage Search and Social activities (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, X, Amazon) from setup to advanced monitoring and performance optimization.
• Strategic development: conceive cross‑channel strategies, define innovative approaches and advanced solutions to meet business objectives.
• Complex, multi‑client project management: plan, coordinate, and supervise activities for multiple brands, markets, and industries, ensuring priorities, timelines, and deliverable quality.
• Operational leadership: coordinate and mentor junior and mid‑level resources, fostering professional growth and adoption of best practices.
• Consultative client relationship: maintain direct, continuous contact with mid‑to‑high level stakeholders, interpret needs, translate into effective strategies, and present results.
• Advanced analytics and reporting: prepare detailed reports, insights, strategic recommendations, competitive context analysis, and financial impact assessment.
• Innovation & best practices: identify emerging trends, technologies, and tools, sharing know‑how for continuous evolution of Performance, E‑commerce & Retail Media activities.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent academic background.
• Minimum 6‑7 years of experience in digital marketing, focused on social advertising, keyword advertising, and performance media.
• Proven expertise with Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads (advanced), and TikTok for Business (auction and reservation experience).
• Preferred experience managing DTC and Marketplace campaigns, product feed management, and advanced customer‑journey analysis.
• Excellent command of MS Office (advanced level).
• Excellent English language skills (verified in interview).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑client projects, set priorities, and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Team‑management and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide junior and middle staff.
• Result‑oriented, analytical mindset, operational autonomy, strong relational and communication skills.

Location & Compensation

Workplace: Milan or Rome – full‑time, permanent, indefinite contract.

Salary range (gross annual): €35,000 – €40,000. The salary is determined on objective, impartial criteria such as position responsibilities, required skills, organisational level, market references, and internal equity.
