PPA Origination Manager - Onshore Renewables

ppAn exciting opportunity to join a global leading renewable energy investment and development company as an Origination PPA Manager, responsible for developing and executing the offtake and revenue strategy across a renewable energy and storage portfolio in Italy. /p h3Location: /h3 pIdeally based in Milan (remote). /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3PPA Origination Offtake Strategy /h3 ul liDevelop and execute the offtake strategy across renewable energy and storage projects. /li liOriginate corporate, utility and bilateral PPAs and build relationships with utilities, traders, aggregators and large energy buyers. /li liAssess optimal contracting strategies, balancing project bankability, value and merchant exposure. /li liMonitor market trends, pricing benchmarks and regulatory developments. /li /ul h3Commercial Negotiations /h3 ul liLead end-to-end negotiation and execution of PPAs and related commercial agreements. /li liStructure competitive PPA solutions covering pricing, tenor, volume, shape, imbalance, credit support, Guarantees of Origin, curtailment and termination provisions. /li liCoordinate with legal, finance, development and risk teams throughout negotiations. /li liSupport EFET, ISDA and other relevant documentation where applicable. /li /ul h3Italian Power Market Financial Analysis /h3 ul liAnalyse GME markets, PUN and zonal prices, forward curves, capture prices, cannibalisation, negative pricing, congestion and imbalance exposure. /li liAssess route-to-market costs, merchant risk, storage revenues and ancillary-services opportunities. /li liUse market data from GME, Terna, GSE and ARERA to inform PPA pricing, bidding and revenue strategies. /li liSupport financial modelling, project valuation and investment decisions. /li /ul h3Auctions Support Schemes /h3 ul liLead participation in relevant Italian renewable energy and storage auctions and support schemes, including GSE auctions, FER X and MACSE where applicable. /li liDevelop bid strategies, pricing and commercial submissions in coordination with development, finance and international teams. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Contract Management /h3 ul liWork closely with development, project finance, MA, legal and investment teams to maximise project value and bankability. /li liSupport financing, MA and farm-down transactions and related due diligence. /li liManage PPAs throughout their lifecycle, including contractual obligations, performance requirements and commercial issues. /li liPresent commercial recommendations and key risks to senior management and investment committees. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Required Experience /h3 ul libSolid experience in European energy markets /b, including substantial experience in the Italian power market. /li liDirect experience originating, structuring, negotiating or managing renewable PPAs. /li liProven track record of executing renewable energy offtake agreements. /li liStrong understanding of Italian electricity markets, GME, zonal pricing, forward curves, capture prices and imbalance exposure. /li liExperience with Italian renewable energy auctions, GSE support schemes or competitive tenders. /li liExperience with solar, wind, BESS or hybrid renewable projects. /li liEstablished network across Italian utilities, suppliers, traders, aggregators and/or corporate energy buyers. /li liStrong commercial, negotiation and relationship-management skills. /li liProfessional fluency in bItalian and English /b. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
