ph3Ocean Export Operations Supervisor - bUS /b Relocation Opportunity /h3 pAn international company operating in the freight forwarding and international logistics industry is looking for an experienced Ocean Export Operations Supervisor to join its U.S. office and operations team. /p pThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and is binterested /b and available to relocate to the United States and work from the company’s U.S. office. /p pThe ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in ocean export operations, preferably within a freight forwarding company or NVOCC, and will have progressed from a hands‑on operational role into a position involving team coordination and supervision. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liCoordinate and supervise day-to-day ocean export operations. /li liEnsure shipments are handled accurately, efficiently, and on time, in line with company procedures and customer requirements. /li liOversee the preparation and management of export documentation. /li liIdentify and resolve operational issues throughout the shipping process. /li liMonitor activities to ensure a consistently high level of customer service. /li liLead, support, and develop the operations team. /li liWork closely with customers, vendors, ocean carriers, agents, and internal teams. /li liProvide hands‑on support in complex or critical situations and step in directly when needed. /li liIdentify operational inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve processes and service quality. /li /ul pThe responsibilities described above are not intended to be exhaustive and may be subject to change based on business needs. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul li5–10 years of experience in ocean export operations within the freight forwarding / international logistics industry. /li liExperience with a freight forwarding company or NVOCC. /li liStrong hands‑on knowledge of ocean export processes and related documentation. /li liCareer progression from an operational role into a position with team leadership or supervisory responsibilities. /li liPrevious experience coordinating, leading, or supervising an operations team. /li liProven ability to troubleshoot operational issues and make timely decisions. /li liStrong organizational skills and attention to detail. /li liCustomer- and service-oriented mindset. /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. /li liGood command of English, both written and spoken. /li liWillingness and availability to relocate to the United States. /li /ul h3Ideal Candidate /h3 pWe are looking for a hands‑on ocean export professional with strong operational expertise and experience developed directly in the freight forwarding industry. /p pThis is not an exclusively managerial position.
