If so, we'd love to hear from you! /ph3About The Role /h3pWe are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Retail Representative who shares our passion for providing quality products and an excellent customer care experience. The Retail Representative works closely and collaboratively with store leadership and reports to the General Manager. This role is responsible for providing customers with exceptional service by meeting individual needs, exceeding expectations, and demonstrating excellent knowledge of the cannabis products, deals, and promotions we offer. /ppSuccessful candidates will complete mandatory training through JARS University - conducted both virtually and in-person at our mock-store training facility - ensuring staff are well-educated on JARS' policies, procedures, and company culture. /ph3Job Duties /h3ulliAssess the needs of each customer, provide appropriate product knowledge, and conduct each transaction with accuracy and efficiency /liliUtilize suggestive selling strategies and actively upsell customers on products and promotions /liliAccept constructive criticism and coaching from upper management /liliAssist with inventory tasks when needed /liliWork scheduled shifts and follow the company's attendance policy /liliFollow all safety and CRA rules and policies /liliPromote the perks of being a JARS customer, including the Loyalty Program, referrals, and more /liliRecord transactions accurately in the POS system, use appropriate login credentials, and ensure the accuracy of the assigned cash drawer /liliPerform opening and closing duties as needed /liliEscalate customer issues to upper management when appropriate /liliMaintain a positive, caring attitude and treat customers and co-workers with respect /liliMaintain neatness, cleanliness, and organization of the sales floor /liliFill in when short-staffed and remain willing to be cross-trained /liliFollow and integrate JARS company policies and procedures in all on-the-job interactions, tasks, and behaviors /liliListen and respond to customer and coworker needs and requests in a timely and appropriate manner /liliOther duties as assigned by management. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliMust be 21 years of age or older /liliHigh school diploma or GED required /liliMinimum 2 years of customer service experience in a retail, sales, and/or hospitality environment /liliAcquired knowledge of cannabis strains and applications /liliCannabis industry and/or health industry experience highly desirable /liliExceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills /liliBasic math skills required /li /ulh3Work Atmosphere/Physical Demands /h3ulliRequires prolonged standing and some bending, stooping, and stretching /liliRequires stocking, labeling, cleaning, organizing /liliAbility to operate a computer, POS system, and other office equipment /liliMoving up to 30 pounds on occasion /liliWork will generally be performed in a fast-paced retail cannabis dispensary /liliInvolves frequent contact with patients and staff /liliWill require working varied hours/day, including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events on occasion /li /ulpJob Types: Full-time, Part-time /ph3Schedule /h3ulli10-hour shift /lili8-hour shift /liliHolidays /liliMonday to Friday /liliWeekend availability required /li /ulh3Why JARS Cannabis? /h3pAt JARS Cannabis, we pride ourselves on being more than just a retailer – we are a community.
