Job Overview

We are urgently hiring a results-oriented Senior Sales Manager based in Italy, responsible for local market development, customer expansion and sales growth focusing on PV mounting, solar tracker and BIPV systems. Reporting to the regional sales team, you will deepen market penetration in the European market, build long-term strategic partnerships with key local clients, drive brand localization and sustainable sales growth, and strengthen the company's competitiveness in the European PV mounting system market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term strategic cooperation with local Italian EPCs, IPPs, power plant developers, system integrators and distributors, establishing stable customer resources and sales channels for PV mounting and tracker business.
• Manage full-cycle business development for PV mounting systems, solar trackers and BIPV products, including demand mining, technical communication, pre-sales support, solution customization and commercial negotiation.
• Independently prepare technical proposals and commercial quotations for PV mounting and tracker projects, and collaborate with internal engineering and project teams to deliver customized integrated solutions that fit local project requirements.
• Serve as the key liaison between local clients and the global team, ensuring accurate alignment of technical requirements, project standards and European compliance specifications to support efficient PV project execution.
• Track end-to-end PV project implementation, coordinate cross-functional resources, support project delivery and after-sales coordination, and control project risks to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Conduct in-depth market research on the European PV industry, collect local industry policies, grid standards, market trends and competitor information, and deliver regular market analysis and sales forecast reports.
• Participate in local PV industry exhibitions and technical events to expand industry networks, enhance local brand influence and explore new project opportunities.
• Formulate and execute local PV market expansion strategies, achieve assigned sales targets for mounting and tracker products, improve market penetration and order conversion, and drive sustainable regional business growth.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, New Energy, International Trade, Business Administration or related fields.
• Over 3 years of B2B sales or business development experience in the European PV industry; candidates with PV mounting system and solar tracker sales experience are highly preferred.
• Familiar with European and Italian PV business models, project workflows, bidding rules and local compliance requirements; experienced in serving local EPC, IPP and project developer clients.
• Fluent in Italian (native level preferred) and proficient in business English; capable of independent communication and negotiation with C-level stakeholders and industry decision-makers.
• Solid professional knowledge of PV mounting systems, solar trackers and BIPV products, with clear understanding of product features, technical parameters and project application scenarios.
• Strong market insight, business development capability and cross-cultural negotiation skills, able to respond quickly to local PV market changes and customer demands.
• Result-driven, self-motivated and highly independent in work execution; capable of prioritizing tasks and coping with market competition and business challenges.
• Local Italy resident or candidates with long-term local development intention are preferred; willing to take short-term local business trips for market expansion. xysqume
