What You Will Learn

As an intern in the Industrial Engineering team, you will gain experience in a dynamic and international environment, working on manufacturing and efficiency challenges. During your internship, you will:

• Deepen your understanding of work analysis methodologies, including time and method studies and workload calculation.
• Support in the monitoring and analysis of working hours across different factories, helping to identify inconsistencies, anomalies, or optimization opportunities.
• Support the definition of workforce requirements by considering all relevant manufacturing variables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (regional teams, plant, and other stakeholders) in benchmarking activities.
• Assist the Engineering team in preparing business cases to support the rollout of automation projects.
• Help spread the adoption of standard methodologies across plants, such as OEE and Worked Hours calculation.
• Contribute to plant improvement initiatives by conducting cost/benefit analyses to support productivity increases and cost-reduction actions.

What We Are Looking For

• A Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or similar.
• Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken).
• Strong interest in work organization, process analysis and operational efficiency.
• Willingness in learning programming language (SQL, Python, etc).
• Good knowledge of Office suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc).
• Good command of Microsoft Excel (knowledge of Pivot Tables, formulas, basic macros is a plus).
