Business Development- Laboratory Equipment

pWe are looking for a new bProduct Manage /br, who will be completely focused on our bLaboratory Equipment line /b. Having a dedicated Product Manager for this important part of our business will allow us to consolidate on market and competitive intelligence at one place and ultimately driving growth more aggressively. /p pThe successful candidate will collaborate closely with Product Manager Element Analyzer, with the aim to building a solid and strategic PM Team. /p h3WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR /h3 ul libTechnology savvy /b. The Product Manager has to understand and interact with customers and understand their workflows, particularly in the life science area /li libBusiness Acume /bn. Partner with the marketing team to develop the value proposition /li libAnalytical Capabilitie /bs. Extract data from market reports, add VoC, compile all market intelligence and draw the right conclusions /li libYou have an analytical approach /b. Your business proposals are backed up by solid VoC and thorough financial considerations /li libPresentation /b. Able to sell “his product” to sales, talking to key accounts, presenting at webinars /li libCommunication /b. Convince the organization based on solid work and rational, generate followership /li /ul h3SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIE S: /h3 pThe Product Manager plays a key role in the innovation process: /p ul liLEAD the definition phase: Collect market intelligence, collect VoC and develop together with RD a solid business plan for new product ideas. /li liIn development phase counterpart for RD, organize beta-test, ensure that cost targets are met, and specifications are not compromised. /li liLEAD in the launch phase: Develop the launch plan together with marketing develop training material and deliver the training to sales. Together with Operations ensure product availaity. /li liIn the retirement phase eliminate products when new successors are launched /li /ul pOther responsabilities are: /p ul liMonitor global sales by territory and identify areas of under penetration or areas of improvement. Propose solutions to sales and support in execution /li liSupport sales in training events /li liMaintain a personal network to researcher using LEs which can inspire new product ideas /li liMaintain a personal network to key accounts in close collaboration with sales /li liSupport Marketing in content generation and in collecting competitive information /li liContribute to the annual strategy development process and indicate long-term opportunities for the Laboratory Equipment product /li /ul h3REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION /h3 ul liIdeally, the suitablecandidate has both a btechnical/scientific background and a business background /b /li liTechnical/Scientific: Minimum bachelor preferably in biochemistry, biology, microbiology or biology /li liBusiness: MBA or practical experience in previous jobs with commercial responsibilities /li libWorked 3-5 years /b in a similar industry, focused on laboratory equipment /li liUnderstands and experienced the business model selling products globally throughdealers /li liExperience as Product Manager (or Product Specialist) is of course a big plus. Adjacent roles who interacted with Product Management are considered as well (RD, Sales, Marketing) /li /ul pWe offer a permanent employment contract with a starting gross annual salary of €45,000 + Bonus, depending on the candidate's experience and seniority. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
