Head of IT Operations

Reference: Head of IT Operations_SGThe Opportunity:We are supporting an international organization in the search for a Head of IT Operations to lead and continuously improve its global IT infrastructure and operational services.Reporting directly to the Global Head of IT, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of the company's IT landscape while leading internal teams and managing strategic technology partners.This is a highly visible leadership role combining technology, service management, people leadership, and infrastructure strategy in a global environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead and develop the IT Operations and Infrastructure function on a global scale.Ensure high availability, performance, and security of enterprise IT services.Manage hybrid infrastructure environments across on-premise, private cloud, and public cloud platforms.Oversee networking, cloud services, endpoint management, identity services, and cybersecurity operations.Drive continuous service improvement and operational excellence.Manage external vendors and service providers, ensuring delivery against agreed SLAs.Establish and maintain IT operational processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Management.Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery initiatives.Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align IT operations with strategic objectives.Lead and mentor technical teams across international environments.What We Are Looking For:Proven experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure Management, or Service Delivery leadership roles.Previous responsibility for managing technical teams and external providers.Strong background in enterprise IT environments and operational governance.Experience with ITIL-based service management practices.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Fluent English.Technical Environment:Microsoft AzureMicrosoft 365Active Directory & Microsoft Entra IDWindows Server & Linux environmentsVMware or Hyper-VEnterprise NetworkingFortinet technologiesSD-WAN & SASE solutionsMicrosoft IntuneBackup & Disaster Recovery platformsInfrastructure Monitoring ToolsITSM PlatformsPowerShell and Bash scriptingWhy Join?Global scope and high visibility within the IT organization.Opportunity to shape and modernize enterprise IT operations.Leadership role with direct impact on business performance and technology strategy.International environment with exposure to complex infrastructure and cloud transformation initiatives.Location: Greater Milan Area (hybrid)Salary Range: 70,000 - 90,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits.
