You will work within a multidisciplinary team on projects involving urban planning, environmental monitoring and infrastructure mapping. /p pThis is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a passion for geospatial technologies to develop hands‑on skills in a real‑world operational environment. You will be mentored by senior analysts and progressively take on more complex tasks as your expertise grows. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liProcess and manage geospatial datasets from various sources (satellite imagery, drone surveys, open data portals) /li liCreate thematic maps, spatial analyses and cartographic outputs using GIS software /li liSupport data quality control, validation and metadata documentation /li liAssist in the development of spatial databases and geodatabases /li liContribute to field data collection campaigns and GPS surveys when required /li liPrepare technical reports and visual outputs for project deliverables /li liSupport senior analysts in spatial modelling and geostatistical analysis /li liMaintain organised project file structures and version control of datasets /li /ul h3Must-have Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in Geography, Environmental Sciences, Urban Planning, Geomatics or related field /li liProficiency in at least one GIS platform: QGIS, ArcGIS Pro or ArcGIS Desktop /li liBasic understanding of coordinate reference systems, projections and spatial data formats (shapefile, GeoJSON, GeoTIFF, KML) /li liKnowledge of spatial analysis fundamentals: buffering, overlay, interpolation, network analysis /li liBasic proficiency in Python or R for data processing is a plus /li liGood written and spoken English (B2+); Italian required /li liAttention to detail and structured approach to data management /li /ul h3Nice-to-have Requirements /h3 ul liExperience with remote sensing data processing (optical or radar) /li liFamiliarity with PostGIS, SpatiaLite or other spatial databases /li liKnowledge of web mapping technologies (Leaflet, OpenLayers, Mapbox) /li liExperience with GRASS GIS or Google Earth Engine /li liBasic understanding of photogrammetry or LiDAR data processing /li liCoursework or projects involving urban analytics or environmental monitoring /li /ul h3Personal Requirements /h3 ul liGenuine curiosity about geospatial technologies and their real-world applications /li liEagerness to learn and develop technical skills in a professional environment /li liGood team player with clear communication skills /li liOrganised and methodical approach to work /li liProactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
