You will play a critical role in building and scaling a new operation, developing key industry relationships, securing major projects, and driving long-term business growth in one of Europe’s most important energy markets. /p pIf you have a proven track record in bHV/EHV transmission lines /b, business development, market expansion, and leadership within the power transmission industry, this is your opportunity to leave a lasting impact. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 pStrategic Business Development /p ul liLead the implementation of the company's market entry and growth strategy in Italy. /li liIdentify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the power transmission sector. /li liBuild strong relationships with transmission system operators, utility companies, EPC contractors, engineering firms, public authorities, and key industry stakeholders. /li liAnalyze market opportunities, project pipelines, competitive dynamics, and industry trends to support strategic decision-making. /li liDevelop and execute short, medium, and long-term business growth plans. /li liEstablish strategic partnerships and identify opportunities for collaboration across European markets. /li liSupport international expansion initiatives and strengthen the company’s position within the transmission infrastructure sector. /li liPrepare, negotiate, and present commercial proposals and contract strategies. /li liDrive revenue growth and ensure sustainable profitability. /li liOversee project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, margins, cash flow, invoicing, and cost control. /li liEvaluate commercial and technical viability of opportunities before project commitment. /li liManage contract administration and mitigate commercial and operational risks. /li liBuild, develop, and lead the Italian organization from the ground up. /li liDefine organizational structures, workforce planning, and resource requirements. /li liRecruit and mentor key management and technical personnel. /li liSupport talent acquisition, onboarding, and succession planning initiatives. /li liFoster a high-performance culture aligned with corporate objectives. /li liPromote collaboration between local operations and international business units. /li liEstablish and maintain a trusted network of subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers. /li liIdentify qualified partners for engineering, construction, civil works, equipment supply, and specialized transmission services. /li liEnsure operational readiness to support future project execution throughout Italy. /li /ul h3Governance, Compliance Risk Management /h3 ul liEnsure full compliance with Italian legal, regulatory, and certification requirements. /li liMaintain the highest standards in health, safety, environmental, and quality management. /li liVerify that employees, suppliers, and subcontractors hold all required qualifications, certifications, and permits. /li liSupport corporate governance and risk management processes. /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 h3Industry Experience /h3 ul liExtensive experience within the bHigh Voltage (HV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission line sector /b. /li liDemonstrated track record working on overhead transmission line projects ranging from b150 kV to 380 kV /b. /li liStrong understanding of power transmission infrastructure, grid development, contracting models, and utility environments. /li liExperience working with transmission operators, utilities, EPC contractors, or major infrastructure organizations. /li liBackground in business development, market expansion, commercial management, or the launch of new operations within the transmission sector. /li /ul h3Commercial Expertise /h3 ul liProven success identifying and securing new business opportunities. /li liStrong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. /li liExperience leading large-scale infrastructure contracts and strategic client relationships. /li liAbility to combine technical understanding with commercial decision-making. /li /ul h3Leadership Capabilities /h3 ul liEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale an organization. /li liStrong leadership presence and team development skills. /li liStrategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities. /li liHighly results-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment. /li liExcellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills. /li /ul h3Education Languages /h3 ul liDegree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field. /li liProfessional English proficiency is highly desirable. /li /ul h3Why Join?
